Lee Women's Straight Leg Jean

I really love these jeans! I bought one pair in some shade of blue and then turned around and ordered a gray pair. I do appreciate that the pockets are different on each. The jeans are 30" inseam, which is great if you are wearing boots or heels, but I will have to shorten because I can only wear flat shoes. After talking to my daughter, I have decided to "dress up" the gray jeans. I have an ivory tank and shirt that is very nice and I always wear with pearls. I also plan to wear all the jeans with one or two different boyfriend jackets. There is something about a button down white shirt worn out (not tucked in) and a black boyfriend jacket. I have an apricot boyfriend jacket that I will wear with one of two different tanks. One is dressier and one is sexier. I have been working on a capsule wardrobe and am purging my closet of over half my clothes. Since I am no longer working, jeans are great! I am 63 and the ripped jeans are for younger people but I am not wearing "Grandma" jeans that fit at the waist. These jeans are stylish, not too pricey, and the fit is almost perfect for me. I refuse to wear anything that is binding or uncomfortable and refuse to go wear too large clothes to get the comfort. After working on my wardrobe, I have decided to include more info on some of my reviews next week. BTW, I am not fighting aging but I am trying to look my best. If you want comfort and style, these are the jeans for you!

I ordered my first pair of the Domino color a couple of years ago and they have been some of my favorite jeans. I have worn them a lot! However, they have faded a good bit and now they are a light grey - which is still fine by me. So I ordered another pair to get the dark grey color back. They are very comfy. When I first put them on - they are a bit snug but after having them on for maybe an hour - they have stretched just enough to be the perfect fit. Mine are a size 8. A size 10 would fit perfect when I would first put them on but then they would stretch enough to be considered too big. I wish I could get some of the other colors in this same jean which is 98% cotton & 2% "other". All of the other colors have a different ratio of cotton to spandex and/or whatever. Highly recommend the Domino.

I bought these to replace a 12 year old Lee Rider Jean, that was of a heavy fabric, 100% cotton, wore like iron and had a perfect fit. It is hard to find 100% cotton jeans nowadays, so I settled for this Lee Jeans that were only 2% spandex and supposed to be perfect fit. The truth is that the material is thin and unsubstantial, the cut is unflattering and the material stretches at least 2 sizes after wearing them for a few hours. I ordered size 10 but should have gotten a size 8 and after wearing for two hours maybe even a size 6. I am wearing size 8 in NYDJ Jeans and should have known better, but some reviewers said size up.So I washed these jeans in very hot water, dried them in the dryer and put them on again and they had shrunk (temporarily), but the fit was still off. Just a weird fit, very loose on the hips and thighs and the material puckered strangely. So I decided I would wear them for laying around the house and garden work, but they stretched two sizes again and almost fell off. I put them in the donation bag.I would have given only one star, the Jeans really had no redeeming qualities, but I added a star because it was my fault that I ordered them one size too large.I learned my lesson and will no longer buy Jeans online. I have to try the Jeans on and be able to feel the material, so that I don't waste any more money.

I had recently gained some weight, so having had a pair of these Lee Perfect Fit Jeans before, I intentionally ordered a size up (I ordered size 8, which is my regular size in other brands of jeans, but not in Lee Perfect Fit). I was hoping that these size 8 jeans would give be a little less tight and I also wanted the extra inseam length. They do fit after washing a drying on normal settings, but they tend to stretch out during wear, so I now wish I had purchased a size 6. They get so loose that I need to belt them to keep them up.

I was worried that these might not fit because I have more of a boyish figure and there is always way too much room in the seat and thighs in most jeans. They end up looking baggy. These fit great in the waist and length, but I will have to take them in a bit in the thigh area as I expected. What I really like about them is the quality of the fabric. It is nice, soft to the touch and heavy enough to last a long time. Overall, great quality.

I ordered a 10 short. I am 5'3 and 138. The pants fit well. The tag inside the pants reads 89% cotton and the rest of the material is elestane, which is basically spandex. These pants will definitely stretch over time. Like other's mentioned there is a weird smell that even after washing remains. I will keep washing but its really a pain. I don't think I will buy again because of the amount of elestane in the pants. It's not necessary and if I had known that much elestane was used I would have not bought the pants. The pant are thin but warm due to the spandex in them. Good for fall and winter wear. I purchased the Domino color and the product description reads 98% cotton 2% other material and that statement is incorrect.

These are my favorite jeans. I bought a pair originally at Kohl's. Once I decided these were my "go to" jeans I searched for another pair, but alas Kohl's was out of my size, so I was happy to find them on Amazon. They hit me at the right place around the waist. Are a tad bit long, so they won't become high waters after washing and shrinking a bit. Not too tight. Not too loose. They are good for the weekend sweater and sneaker look. The darker pair I wear out with some shorty boots and a nice blouse.

Love these jeans! Soft fabric, comfortable stretch to accommodate movement, no gap at hip/waist area. One reviewer said that the jeans tend to ride down. This is true. I wear a belt with these jeans (don't have to with some other jeans) but that is not a bad trade off for being really comfortable. Bought two pair initially and will buy more. Detailing on back pocket is there but not blingy or attention grabbing - for me that is a positive thing. Don't have to worry about scratching furniture with bling or having metal or sparkly bits fall off in the wash.
