When the cheap carabiner I had broke , I came across this locking carabiner and It has been amazing. The lock mechanism keeps the carabiner tightly locked without fear of opening . It’s a good size/quality.

i use these as key rings or to clip poop bags or other gear on dog leashes and walk about clutch. they hold well and have the lock mechanism which prevents them from opening on accident.

I've used Nite Ize products for years and have always been happy with them. This one I was a bit uncertain about when I first got it but kept with it and learned I really like it. I can clip it and lock it to a belly loop, ring, or whatever. Or I can just clip it to my pocket with the keys inside so I can easily pull them out. I ended up liking it so much I bought a second for another vehicle. The locking bar was annoying at first but I soon realized you can pull it to the top of the clip and it will not come off and has a catch to keep it in place. This keeps it from sliding down and locking when you don't want it to.
