The grind is kind of coarse, worked for me though I still had to filter it twice for my cold brew. I've made two batches and unfortunately I haven't gotten the taste I was hoping for, which is closer to Starbucks or Trader Joe's cold brew, with more caramel/milk chocolate taste. This retains a fair amount of bitterness (cold brewing for 12-15 hours), you get baker's chocolate, earthy, cedarwood flavors (in my opinion).
