First, you can use lbs not just kg unlike the previous reviewer reported, just change it on the app. It takes less than a minute to download the Alfit app. You can do this before your scale arrives. When you get your scale put the batteries in (they come with) and open the app and set up an account. It automatically syncs to your WiFi, when prompted put in your home security password and you're ready to go. Go to the home screen on the app, set your phone down nearby, and step on the scale (barefooted). Note: you can use this scale without a smartphone, but that is the purpose of this scale to gather all of the information for you.This scale gives you body mass, muscle mass, moisture, bone mass, BMR, protein rate, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, standard weight, weight control, body fat, weight w/o fat, muscle weight, the amount of protein, and body type. It explains each one for you so there is no guesswork. For example, you will know if your bone mass is insufficient ideal, or excellent. This gives you important information to share with your doctor, dietitian, etc.The scale keeps track of the data it collects and gives you an average for the month in an easy format to read. You can also set it up to sync data with other apps such as IOS Health, Fitbit, MyNetDiary, and just about any app that collects this type of data. *(caution read below) You can also choose not to have it share the information.Another feature is the ability to weigh your infant with a baby scale mode. I've not used this feature so I won't comment.Take note that the app does have a 1.6 score out of 5 from 45 ratings. There was an update in November so this may have fixed some of the problems people were having?? I've been using the scale for almost a month an haven't had any cliches with the app.*There were also other concerns because app and scale were made in China and how your personal data is shared. Remember you don't have to allow this app to sync with your IOS Health app or any other app to protect your privacy. So far so good. I bought this scale to replace my old scale after I shattered it. I was looking for an affordable Bluetooth scale and I got this one on a lightening deal. Totally worth it and works great! I love that I can download the app and it saves my data. I approved sharing to Fitbit and every time I sync it brings my stats into Fitbit for tracking as well.

I thought it's going to be really basic for its price, but I was surprises to find it was not. It pairs with my phone via bluetooth and gives me a lot of info about my body in the App. It is definitely worth the money.

Seems like a great product but somehow totally missed it was all in KG and not LBS

So after reading the google play reviews on the app at 2 stars I decided to read the user agreement. As it turns out the "AI" software is chinese Spyware. To use the app you must and I repeat must give and use Location data, photo, give it access to post on social media, call, contacts, and text. with out the app the scale just does weight... IF your scale has to post to facebook or call someone on your contacts there is a problem. If you take the batteries out and put them back in your weight magically changes up to .02 pounds... so yea. DO not Buy. have already submitted a return request. This is by far the worst product as far as privacy I have ever bought on amazon.

Love this scale. Bought for my husband and I and realized we could up to a total of 9 different profiles on the scale and app. It is easy to use and set up and we received a lot faster then what it said we would! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new scale!!

Looks beautiful. It's the perfect fitness tracker . Just measure every morning and you can see the progress . It's really motivating seeing the progress while you are training , and the coolest thing is that you can see each and every day what have you achieved. I recommend it with both hands !
