Vintage Black Velvet Ribbon, 3/8 Inch X 25Yd

I’m so happy with this ribbon. The burgundy velvet is absolutely beautiful, rich, soft, and has that perfect vintage look. It’s high quality and doesn’t fray easily, which makes it great for gift wrapping, wreaths, and craft projects. I used this ribbon in place of ornaments on my Christmas tree this year to keep things simple and I love the way it turned out. I think its really pretty and minimal which is what I was going for and being its thin it was easy to tie a bunch of bows with. For me personally it’s hard to visualize how how the difference in thickness would look for different purposes until you try it and see the scale. I really like the way the 3/8” looks on the tree but thought it looked silly and too thin for gifts. For size reference, the gifts under the tree have 1” ribbon, while the tree has the 3/8” so if you dont want something super dainty i recommend getting some thicker. I didn’t put bows on the back of the tree that you don’t see and ended up using the majority of it on what you can see in the images, so I recommend purchasing additional if you would need more. But overall super happy with this. The color is rich and and the velvet side feels super soft.

I got the purple ribbon 1/4 inch thick, and I was just testing it to see if it was nice. It’s really nice, thick and very dark purple. It has the look and feel of quality cotton velvet, although I don’t think it’s made from cotton. I’m going to order more for sure.

I absolutely love this ribbon! I’ve ordered it in so many different colors over the last few years. It’s high quality, thick ribbon but not too stiff to easily tie.

Ribbon was good quality, but I received cut and taped together although I bought a new one.. Will be returning hopefully to get my $ back. Will order from another brand.
