I love this in theory but it is a little too high maintenance for me. It is very pretty and the glass is a high quality so you don't see any blemishes in it. But, the way the lid/handle is designed, you have to put it on precisely as you want it so that the stick inside doesn't end up off to the side making it look odd. Probably doesn't sound like a big deal, but in my world, when I have too many little things like this, they all seem to add up and I don't want a bunch of little high maintenance things like this. Especially when I have a son and hubby that won't take the time to put it just right and it will make me mental looking at it laying wrong in there. If you are okay with this, then it is great :) The other thing is that the glass is very thing so feels like it will break really easily. So if you set it down too hard or accidentally nock it against something. We aren't rough with our things, but it feels so extra delicate that I don't want to have to worry about it. I just know we have to move quickly around here since we seem to always be on the go and again, I don't need another thing to worry about or thing to clean up when it does break, because it will. If you have a slower speed, it would probably be fine. So if you are okay with those 2 things, it will be great for you! If not, then there are other options that are great too! We found one :)

This pretty clear glass bottle filled with golden honey makes a gorgeous display in my kitchen. Everyone who visits notices and mentions it. It seals perfectly and the dipper holds a good amount of honey. I love it!

I made an extensive search for the most practical honey jar to use in our hotel's breakfast buffet, and this was by far the best I found for three main reasons: First, it's entirely made out of glass and not of plastic, second, the lid and the dipper are one piece, so the user can serve honey with one hand, making thus possible to hold the dish with the other hand. All other jars need two both hands to use them: one for removing the lid and the other to serve the honey with the dipper. If you want to use them with one hand you have to remove the lid, leave it on the table (on a special place in order to not mess up with honey), serve the honey with the dipper, and put the lid again on top of the jar (complicated). Finally, the third reason is that it looks beautiful, better than any other jar. And when I received them (I bought two), they look even better than in the pictures. The only drawback for professional use (hotel) might be that they may be easier to break than plastic jars, especially in the neck area. We'll see if they break or if they make it till the end of the season. But if you want them for your house, they are great. The delivery also was very quick and efficient even though I'm located in Europe. I would ask you to include this product in your European stores.

I loved the look of this honey pot, wanted a way to get rid of the annoying plastic bottle the raw honey I buy comes in. Real honey, in cooler weather, will crystallize. Most honey isn’t pure honey, despite the label saying it; most is adulterated with corn syrup, and doesn’t crystallize in the cold. That stuff comes out fine in a squeeze bottle like they sell it in. But good quality honey does not do well in those bottles in cooler weather... You’re supposed to warm it in hot water, to let the honey crystals melt back, but who wants to immerse a plastic bottle in hot water like that? No thanks… too many chemicals there. So, I wanted a glass container that I could easily heat during cold weather, just enough to melt the crystallized honey, since I prefer to buy the real, unadulterated one. (And don’t think a fancy brand will save you there—even Dickinson’s is adulterated.) Enter this lovely vessel. It looks gorgeous in the photo, and also IRL. It has an integrated dripper, which I wanted, because who wants to wash the honey dripper every day, just to use it again the next? And it’s glass, nice and safe for food, including acidic things like honey. But my delight ended when I opened the box and lifted out the vessel. The lid is sturdy enough, I think, but the vessel itself is really, really thin glass for my purpose. Excellent for decorative users of the adulterated kind of honey, but not for repeated heating to melt the crystallized stuff. It’s going back. I think a Mason jar is the safest way to accomplish what I want to, after this; unfortunately, the wide mouth Mason lid adapters have steel drippers, and you’re really not supposed to leave metal sitting in honey long term. Fine to use a metal spoon to briefly scoop some out, but not great to leave a metal dripper or device sitting in the honey all the time. It will apparently make it taste bad over time. Sigh. Back to the drawing board.

Love this cute jar for honey. Practical and sturdy. Honey is always at my fingertips.

Elegant, but fragile and impractical. I liked the idea of an all glass design, since I don't like the thought of wood or plastic dipper contaminating the honey. I liked the large size, since honey refills are messy (see below). I like the way the item arrived well packaged to avoid breakage. However, I wish it were made out of heavier glass. Even though we are a household of adults, I am very concerned that it will break if something accidentally bumps into it. After one usage I have to subtract 2 stars because it doesn't deliver enough honey to satisfy my sweet tooth. (I don't like the inconvenience of being a double dipper). When I want more honey I have to pour it out of the flask, and it makes a sticky mess when honey invariably runs down the outside of the flask. I subtracted another star after a week's use because honey in the bottom portion of the flask isn't accessible without tipping the jar with one hand while twirling the dripping dipper with the other. With the narrow neck refills can be messy if too much honey poured at once causes blockage and overflow. The flask is attractive so I considered using it as an expensive flower vase, but decided in the end just to send it back and get something that is less elegant but functional.

Nice to be able to see the honey and the level. Not completely air tight as a few ants were found in it. Honey ends up on the inside of the opening when removing the lid.
