Just the pans I was looking for....
Amazing pans. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to try the famous chocolate cake by Ina Garten and as I donโt have 8โ round cake pans, decided this is a good excuse. Itโs so impossible to come by these classic pans. I have tons of glass and nonstick pans but not a single aluminum one as those are hardly available for sale in local groceries. When I found this pair I was beyond happy. I could finally created the cake I had been eyeing for months. It came out amazing, evenly baked and no dome on the top. The cake was a winner. Even after the first use, the pans remained as new. A gentle scrub with dish shop easily cleaned away all the stuck batter. These are well made, sturdy, even and super easy to clean. The included picture of one of the pans is after first bake and cleaning. I have no reasons to use any other cake tin anymore. Super happy.

Everything I was hoping for!
These are the first cake pans I've ever purchased, but I really can't imagine anything better! I like that there isn't a coating I have to worry about scraping up. I butter the pans really well each time and haven't had sticking issues (as you can see. Third layer was still baking.). I've baked three cakes each with three layers and got beautiful flat layers every time (that is due in part to the cake strips I use on the outside of the pans). The pans are super easy to clean and feel high quality enough to be the only pans I'll need to buy. They don't nest, but that's how you get the straight edge that makes frosting easier. I'll probably buy a third. Definitely recommend!

EXCELLENT QUALITY
These pans are awesome! I have a small home baking business and have been wanting to purchase more pans for the sake of efficiency. I love Fat Daddio, but they are pricey! I came across these and figured for the price, it was worth a try. Let me say....I'm currently working on a 4 tier cake and have no time for mess ups. So far, the cakes have come out beautiful and baked evenly without crusty edges. These pans are comparable to Fat Daddios and far superior to Wilton. I read the reviews about the label being difficult to get out. But I didn't have an issue, they popped right out and the sticky stuff came right off. The inserts even have measurement and baking time suggestions. Another perk is the box they come in makes for clean and easy storage! I originally bought 2 sets so when added to my current pans, I'd have 3 of each size. Well, I just bought another set and plan to retire my old mix matched ones.

Great pans for the price
I went back and forth between these and stainless steel pans. I decided on these because of the price they canโt be beat. Iโve used more expensive aluminum pans, and Iโd say these are just as good.

Grrr. The packaging!
First of all, others have written of a tendency of these pans to flake (and I think I'm seeing that on one pan). For some unknown reason, the manufacturer thought it was necessary to glue a thin cardboard circle with advertising in each and every pan. WHAT A PAIN to remove! You can't get your finger nail under the edge, as it's too tight. You can't get a rubber spatula under it as that is too thick. The only thing that would work is the tip of a paring knife (which then scratches the pan) or a cake frosting style thin spatula (but still a possibility of scraping the pan). It was so frustrating to try and get all of them out for first baking. It's that rubber kind of glue, so that does come out easily, but be prepared to figure out how to get the cardboard out. Pans cook evenly, and when sprayed heavily with cooking spray, cake removes easily (didn't need flour). Not as easy to eject cake as with silicon, but still works well. The different tiers will end up different thicknesses unless you use your own judgment about filling the pans up (you can't just fill each one half way - the little ones will have much thicker tiers). It's a fun set to have, though. I would put the equivalent of two cakes in the largest pan (that cardboard? it has some chart about how to do this - but by the time I got the cardboard out, it was shredded, ha). Otherwise, that large tier will be ridiculously thin compared to the others. Then, you need to adjust the others similarly. One could fill each pan 3/4th full to get the right effect for most tier cakes (although for some specialty cakes, you'd need two of some of the pans - not sure they are sold separately.

great product... lots of sizes
My daughter bakes... a lot. She loves having these varied sizes so she can adjust the cake to the size of the event. So far she has used all but the largest size and she loves them. She says the extra deep sides allow her to bake one cake layer and then slice it into 2. This sounds silly to me when you can just bake 2 and be done... but she is a perfectionist and levels off her cakes... so this reduces cake waste and leveling time. Since they nest together, they are easy to store and the set allows for tiering cakes if desired. Great product.

Excellent cake pans!
I really like the straight sides, the rolled rim. These pans are quality. I changed to this brand for all my cake baking! Highly reccomend. They are a bit pricey yet I still bought them.
