She wasn’t running around in them or scraping them just walking around pretending to be a princess at a tea party, not dragging her feet or scuffing her toes. She loves them so we had to order a replacement thinking they were maybe just defective but the second pair began to come apart too on the first day. We have just accepted that they are weakly glued together and bought shoe goo to fix them and she is happily wearing them around with no worries now. My granddaughter is very particular admit everything, especially clothes, hanging a mind of her own!She’s just barely fitting into size 13 so I bought a size 1, wanting her to be comfy. The size is perfect, giving her room at the toe. The sole of the shoe is made of rubber with grips, unlike adult shoes that slip on hard surfaces. She said they are very comfortable and fit nicely.We bought what they call a champagne color, but in certain light they have a hint of blush in it. This perfectly matches her dress.I cannot address how they will hold up after wearing them. The only con, in my mind, is the strap is secured with Velcro. I would have rather seen an adjustable strap with a real buckle to make it more tailored to the person.
