Splat Midnight Ruby Semi Permanent Hair Dye Kit, 1 Application

THIS IS SO GOOD I have REALLY dark brown hair and I wanted a reddish pink for ever but nothing worked🙄 but this worked wonders!!! Every one loved my hair!! I was so mad cuz it had zero color after I did it I was was mad but then by day two it was SUPER DARK as u can see in the pic ❤️

I love it I have medium brown curly hair and I used the midnight ruby and it turned out exactly how I love not glaringly vibrant but not dark and dull either just a gorgeous vibrant but still deep red color with pink/magenta undertones and no bleach required it truly DOES show up on medium brown hair but be warned it will stain the hell out of everything if you aren’t careful.

My absolute favorite semi-permanent vibrant red hair dye! And i’ve been using vibrant red semi-permanent dye since the 90’s. No bleaching needed for my natural dishwater blonde hair. Stays for 6+ weeks and Leaves hair soft, shiny and healthy! i get compliments on my color on a daily basis!

Always a great dye for color and coverage, but obviously it stains my counters, tub and floors horrendously, though I think this is my fault for being a messy applicator. Worked pretty good on my dark brown roots, and extremely vibrant on my bleached sections. The dye applies kind of like a conditioner and is easy to run your fingers through your hair for even coverage. It is a little slippery so it's easy to make a mess. Use a shirt you don't care about and cover your floors if you're worried about stains.

Very vibrant but washes out sooo much so no matter how much I rinsed in cold water it kept getting color everywhere.

The midnight line is my current favorite dye for my medium-brown hair. No bleach needed & the color really pops. I wash my hair about 1-2 times per week, and this color lasts for months with that schedule. It still fades over time and becomes something like an ombre tint, but that means I can just let it go without worrying about it looking horrible. The color will stain your bathroom though if you aren't diligent! Eventually it comes out, but you definitely want to be careful if dying at home and during the first few hair washes. Overall, very satisfied with the great colors and lack of bleach.

I've purchased Splat products numerous times over the years. This brand is a staple in my home (as my daughters and I dye!) ..and we love it! This color went on nicely, no bleeding, and is lasting a long time. I appreciate that it also shows up on dark hair, without much of an effort.

A vinegar rinse does really help lock color in. It still may transfer, but not nearly as much as after the vinegar rinse. And do completely dry hair or it will stain everything. I really love this color.

If you don’t like strong sweet scents, then maybe go for a different dye. For me, I love the scent of this dye and how it held up on my hair. Held on quite well onto my hair and a year later, as I’m growing out my hair now, in the sun I still see its red hue shine through. It’s really good and straight forward to use.

Color looks decent, but dye is runny as hell, meaning it's hard to control and leaves things splotchy and it's stains literally everything...I'd strongly recommend wearing gloves to rinse it out unless you want to spend 30 minutes scrubbing your hands and hopefully you don't mind you shower being whatever color dye you selected for awhile

I have medium brown virgin hair and the product is is pigmented. However, after one shampoo my red streaks turned PURPLE...! Although the purple is pretty, it was not my intention, so looses a star. Regarding shipping, yeah, like others said the tip broke off and product spilled into the box.
