Continental Electric CE-TO101 4-Slice Toaster Oven, Frozen Snack, White

I like the size of this toaster-oven. Does 4 slices of toast or waffles that are frozen. I bought the exact same item three (3) times before. YES...on my 3rd one. My 1st one was ruined by "unwatched taco shells" that caused small fire. It was beyond cleaning up. The 2nd one the numbers were wiped off after using a spray on cleaner. Also, about week ago Grandson let pizza in tooooo long, (our fault), and it was beyond cleaning that, so opted to just buy a nice new clean one as life is too short to fuss. I just used it now for lovely piece of toast. Price has gone up a bit, but worth it. The size and because its white, like my appliances earns 5*'s This Vendor was very fast on filling my order forecasted to be next Monday and it got here today, Friday. Great service. Would definitely buy my 4th when time comes. :)

Other than the numbers on the front of the toaster oven starting to smudge, we have been very happy with this unit. The capacity is sufficient for two pieces of bread or a small meal on the provided baking tray. This toaster toasts bread on both sides, which is a function some toaster ovens strangely don't perform. The timer or over itself isn't too loud. Worth it!

This little toaster oven makes perfectly golden toast every time – and also melts cheese like a champion. Its compact design fits well in my cottage kitchen and I appreciate the fact that only a small ‘ding’ is heard when the unit turns off, rather than the multiple beeps you usually get with digital toaster ovens. If you want to do simple tasks easily, this toaster oven gets my vote. I also appreciate the manufacturer’s responsive and personable customer service. When the coil on my unit stopped working, they responded quickly and sent me a replacement oven in less than two weeks. Working with Continental Electric was a pleasure. I highly recommend this product and vendor.

Too bad this oven isn't better in the safety area. It really needs to be watched closely, especially when toasting. The reason is that the dial 'timer control' is very tricky ... really nearly impossible... to set accurately and consistently to control the resulting toast. Burning toast is easy. I have never dared set it near "medium" let alone "dark". The only remedy is to watch it fairly closely as it approaches correctly done...which can be achieved looking through the glass door. But even turning it off manually as it reaches 'done' is not easy/intuitive since turning the dial a bit too far results in by turning just past "off" it can stop easily at "stay on"...which can be dangerous if missed. (Yes there is a red light that may be easily overlooked below the control knob) . AND...opening the open/toast door does not shut off the heating element either. These quirks can be learned and hopefully mastered over time but for the rookie user, kids, or distracted/forgetful can be annoying (burned toast etc) or dangerous (left on too long?). This is sad because I really LIKE the little thing...it is attractive, a nice size for 2 toasts, nicely compact ...it fits our cabinets small cubby (we don't USE it there but slide it out), it does bagels and similar things well, is pretty powerful, etc. I've only tried it a few times so far but it works OK as an oven ("bake") with the temperature control and timer functions. Almost a 4 or even 5 star but the above is too serious to rate it that way. Buy and use (toast) with caution...

Replaced a small white Toastmaster I had for 10 years. This is the perfect size. It's simple to use, & so far performs all the functions well. Just be watchful of toast. Begin with the light setting & see how you like it. The only thing different from the Toastmaster is that the rack doesn't pull out automatically when you open the door. I'm getting used to that. I just pull it out with small heat proof kitchen tongs.

if i could give 0 stars i would not only is their product of inferior quality their customer service warranty department is worse. one of the steps for warranty is send in a photo of you cutting the cord next send cut cord with tracker postage of prioity mail will not be returned. what are they uing tracker for because package arrived and still need their warehouse weeks to confirm before sending out refund. UNBELIVABLE amout of steps you have to do for a $40 warranty.

This is just what I was looking for. I find that making toast at around 350 degrees works much better than the toaster setting. It seems to run a bit hot but once you get used to using a lower temp than you would for a regular oven this works great - I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I haven't used yet but I cleaned it today.So it's very nice so let you know how it works

Très déçu de cet article qui a été un remplacement d’un autre four identique et qui ne fonctionne pas bien. Il faut tenir le bouton marche pour que ça fonctionne si non il s’éteint. C’est de mauvaise qualité. Malheureusement je n’ai plus la boite pour le retourner. Merci
