I thought mine was leaking, but when I looked I realized I had a bad Gas Cap So I am not sure of the size never measured it. **Q: Will this fit a 1974 mustang 2?** A: I Don’t no it fixed my 1972/1973 Dodge Dart no problem **Q: I have a 65 Plymouth barracuda with a 1.75” filler tube, will this fit?** A: This is for a 2" filler tube. **Q: Does this fit a 1973 Mercury Cougar?** A: not sure about that ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was wrong. This is a better part and correctly made. It's the right size ID inner groove. *by A***R on December 22, 2022* I would def. re-order from this one. I ordered a total of three seals from three vendors and this one is the only correctly sized one. The tank won't leak because of this seal. The others were 1/8" or so smaller ID inner groove and that's where the leak came from. The rest of the dimensions were fine.Plus, I dn't know if this matters, but the part from 3Mirrors/repairyrcar was better finished.I will try to rescind my negative review as soon as I'm done with this one. It was late in coming, but a better part. It does no look exactly like the original, but it does fit and will work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Also fits an AMC Spirit gas tank *by A***R on January 29, 2024* Also fits an AMC Spirit gas tank.
