My son in law needed these to prevent burns when working on car coming through for oil changes. They work great.

Fit well, and not itchy and very resilient to cuts.

I got these and I liked the way they fit and feel. I bought one for a friend and he noticed a hole between two of the fingers, which was disappointing, especially for a gift. Although my pair did not have this defect. They are cut "resistant" which absolutely does not mean cut "proof". My buddy immediately took a kitchen knife to them while wearing them while I stood by and advised against it. They appeared to hold up to the test without noticeable damage to the gloves, or more importantly, the flesh. A heavy slash would be of concern, but they are better than bare skin. As for bites, pressure, and puncture, protection I wouldn't expect much. While they may guard against outer tissue damage, the pressure from a bite or the puncture of a bite, would hurt, bruise, and most likely get through the gaps in the fabric causing some injury. So I can see why other reviewers say that are not good for rough dog play or training. Since they are soft, you can still feel the pressure of a bite and the individual direct pressure of a tooth that may get through to the skin. Still they are better than nothing and would increase your body's protective armor rating, to an extent. The dexterity of the fingers and hands feels quite good and I feel that I could operate a variety of devices, contraptions and weaponry while wearing them. Wearing another pair of Kevlar gloves underneath them increases the intensity of the protective feel, obviously. I did buy more of them and there was a seam that stuck out from the side of the glove that went all the way down. It made it feel more rugged, but not as smooth and sleek as the first ones that I bought. I cannot attest to their heat resistance, as of yet. I removed a star for the damage to one of the initial pairs and the weird protruding seam on the next pair that I purchased. I plan on using additional ones for gifts, but I am inspecting them for flaws/holes prior to gifting. For handling, cleaning, or practicing with swords, knives or other edge cutlery, they would increase my sense of safety. Overall, I like them and I am including them in my gear until I have something bad to say about them or find something better.

These are definitely NOT scratch or bite resistant when it comes to your pet. Not to mention they're tight and don't know how a grown man is supposed to fit into them?? DO NOT SPEND your $30 ON THESE!I wanted to buy them so that I could play with my kitty more, especially during lock down because of COVID-19. After waiting a week and spending $30 I'm disappointed to say the very least.I should have known a DuPont product was garbage just like that company itself. Hopefully they are decent enough to give a full refund for falsely advertising this product.

Work great for fire dancing and when you need to fix a grill while its lit however the one size fits all doesnt apply im the smallest guy in my friend group (5'7 and 125lbs) and these gloves are TIGHT!

Made for skinny FEMALE arms. My husband is 6 foot 2 and only weighs 170lbs and they were almost impossible to get on and off.

totally what i expected need them for heat protection and they work 350f no burn baby

My husband works in construction and when using gloves he feels comfortable and safe. It is a product of excellent quality. I recommend it.
