It's a rectangle, the size guide is good.It's not really made of fabric, but 7 stripes of elestic bands sewn together. Clever idea and explains why it's cheap.I'm not sure whether the bones are made of steel but if they are, they are very thin.It's very convenient if you are looking to control the tummy a little for a dress but don't want to spend time lacing or be uncomfortable. It's just as good as any shapewear and is cheap, easy to get in, and nice looking.
