Excellent quality! One side really grips the floor well, so the pad stays in place. The other side pads my rug perfectly! The rug pad is for underneath a rug in my toddler son’s room. It works way better than I thought it would at providing much needed cushion and keeping noise at bay while my son stomps around.

Love it, and ZERO smell. Works perfect and rig doesn’t slide on the hard wood floor and just the right amount of cushion. I bought the 8x10 and the 5x7 and both are great. You need to trim them a bit so the rug edges are flat

This foam rug pad is exactly what I was looking for to add some cushioning to my living room area rug. The rug I have is pretty thin, so walking on my hardwood floors all the time was uncomfortable and hurting my knees; this foam rug pad is thick, cushiony, and provides the support I needed to comfortably walk on my rug and even lay down on it without straining my feet/knees! The quality is great. I removed a star because I wish it had some adhesive to stick to my rug instead of just laying flat on top of it- sometimes my rug shifts on top of the foam pad, and I have to adjust it back into place. To fix this issue, you can get some carpet/rug tape to put on the corners of your rug to stick it in place. Otherwise, I would've rated it 5 stars. The size of the foam pad was accurate to the size of my rug and it didn't smell bad or have an odor when it arrived like some other reviews have mentioned. I'm happy with my purchase!

This item was very nice. I used it for cushioning under my living room rug. I was afraid it was going to come all folded up and be wrinkled, but it came rolled up in a tall box and there was literally no wrinkles. I just rolled it out and it was completely flat. I was putting it under an 8 x 10 rug. I did have to cut it a little bit so that it didn’t show, but that was relatively easy to do. It stays in place firmly and doesn’t shift with the rug. It is more cushioning than I thought it would be. It was worth the price.

The pad has a felt top and rubber bottom. It was a little over sized but could by cut to the proper size with a little effort. Sharp scissors and a straight edge helped. The pad did not slip, unfolded easily and flattened quickly. Our new rug felt very soft with the felt pad.

I was impressed with the cushion and warmth this pad provided under our rug and that it doesn’t slide around. Recommend for anyone looking for added cushion under rug and to help with echoing sound in open spaces.

Love this 10x14 rugpad...took 6 days to arrive which seemed long since I am spoiled by Prime...slight plastic smell upon opening but I'd been waiting for it to arrive so I could put my new 10x14 Hazo house rug down and already moved the furniture. The quarter inch pad is perfect for our super thin washable rug and when I went into the living room the morning after we put it down, I did not notice any smell. I did have to trim about 2 inches off the long side so it would t show under the new rug. So far so good.
