I want to mount it free standing but need the hose to go out the back of the unit.** A: Hi Blaise, Thank you very much for your interest in our products. You can certainly get to the hoses from the rear of the shower, either by removing the back panel as if you were wall mounting it or you can get your plumber to use their tools to cut out a small section of the back panel, which will get you to the inlet connector hoses for hot and cold. Since this shower is designed for Cold & Hot water, it comes with 2 stainless steel hoses inside the panel and in order for you to attach it to a garden hose, you will need a special T-Connection, which you can purchase at a hardware store, and you join both of these hoses together with a T-Connection and then you attach the garden hose to that. We can send you a photo on how to do that after your purchase as at this point we can not attach any instructional images.
