Worth every penny
The Kraus sink is beautiful, high quality, easy-to-install, and the company has many helpful comments and videos online to help with every step of the process. I was recommended this sink by several home DIY channels on YouTube and I am glad I found this product. I was worried about the shipping as others had mentioned but the product showed up very well packaged and safe from crack or dings. I purchased the strainer set as well for a seamless look. Others were uncomfortable with using rubber O-rings and plastic threads on the strainers but it seems that the plumbing world is evolving from old plumber putty days to newer stuff and after some quick replumbing under my sink (the deeper sink meant I had to redo everything back to the main outlet, new P-trap, etc, but it was time to update anyhow), I’m ready to go with no leaks. I paired it with a recommended faucet also on Amazon here and it looks sharp. I think the off-center is actually attractive. I really like how deep the left part of the sink is and the shallow right upper sink is so handy as a staging area for dishes for the dishwasher, rinsing veggies, etc. I can’t believe how much this sink adds to the appeal of my kitchen. I smile every morning when making coffee and I have so many complements when guests are over! At dinner last night I had a friend order the exact same setup as mine; I can’t wait to help her install it at her place. This sink comes with under or overmount instructions and equipment. I used silicone sealer and the included overmount sink tighteners, cutting small wood blocks for them to “push” of of below the countertop so the metal part wouldn’t hit the sink and push it up off the countertop. The sink is heavy enough where I don’t believe I truly needed these attachments; a high grade silicone sealant should work fine if the geometry doesn’t allow for you to get the attachments on.If you have problems with the sink, please search Google or Youtube- this company seems to put great effort into their product support and there are so many helpful videos both by the company itself on Youtube and also by other DIYers. Cheers!

On a Whim I Tore Apart My Kitchen, and Did It On a Tight Budget, and It Looks Like a Million Bucks!
Our faucet broke and was under warranty and we were waiting on a replacement. We had a hideous off-white sink that was always filthy looking no matter how clean it was. So while we waited for the new faucet, I thought why not just remodel the disgusting kitchen? I have always LOVED black appliances and fixtures, so I decided to do a black sink. I did all of my research for a week, from online stores to every home improvement store within twenty miles. This was the BEST deal, especially when Amazon offered me a monthly payment option with no interest as a loyal customer! The sink arrived in two days (Prime), and came with everything I needed. It DOES have knockout holes underneath, but you WILL need a diamond drill bit or the like to get through it. My father in law had some sort of standard circular bit with teeth on it that I used, and while it worked, the granite composition of the sink destroyed it, and I had to push really hard. There was a tiny chip also, but the faucet guard hid it.I will also state that I, a 38 year old woman with zero experience outside of building IKEA furniture was able to install it myself. The ONLY downside is the installation of the clips. It isn't very clear in the instructions on how/when to clip them, and I did them first before dropping the sink, and it caused a huge caulk mess because it wouldn't fit in the cutout with the clips on, and the space around the sink in my cabinet made it impossible to install them or screw them in after it was dropped so I could only fasten ONE clip. But the sink is nice and snug and sealed and stays in place, so I don't think it's an issue, but I kept the clips in case there is a future problem and I can have a profession come in and redo it.Downside: As stated by other reviewers, the sink does get "dull" or "dusty" because we have hard water, so I'm looking into how to remedy that (someone said to "oil" it regularly like you would a wooden chopping block), and it does scratch a little easy. We had a metal drying rack sitting in the sink and it scraped the side.NOTE: This does NOT come with the drain insert thingies, which I mistakenly thought it did, so I had to run to the store and get those at like 9:00 pm for the plumber that was coming at 7:00 am. I recommend that black ones, they look super sharp. So make sure to get those!

Be very careful using drain cleaner
I love my sink, it is beautiful and deep which I wanted, I didn't realize however that drain cleaner is a very dangerous item on the finish of the sink and the drain ring, a drop ended up on the stone surface near the drain and on the black plastic ring changing each to white, I'm going to try acrylic enamel appliance paint to touch up. Otherwise I also recommend purchasing a wire grid for the bottom or you will break glasses.

This is the 60/40 sink to buy!
We just recently built a new home & this was the sink I wanted. It’s beautiful & cleans easily with Bar Keepers friend. We’ve had Kraus sinks in our last 2 homes & this one is by far my favorite. Price was good too!

Make sure your hole in the counter top is wide enough
The hole has to be almost as wide as the sink.. the locking hardware doesn't fit correctly, has to cut more around tileEnded up only using RTV silicone to hold to counter top. And the holes for the drains are not the standard distance between them you need about 15-16 inch PVC pipe instead of the normal 12
