My experience with this has been just as good as the “name brand” version, if not better. However, I did have an issue with the suppository slipping. I would always insert the applicator all the way up, and when I pulled it out, the suppository was crowning out. Mind you, I applied this while lying down, yet still had slippage…or maybe it didn’t fully release until I took the applicator out? I shoved it back in with my finger the first day. The other days, I just put the suppository back into the applicator and tried again, despite it being slightly melted. The second try was always successful. Perhaps it’s needs to melt slightly to release and stay in place. The first hour was fine, but the second hour, I did experience burning. I wouldn’t say it was bad enough that I wanted it out. My actual YI symptoms were worse than the burning. That discomfort lasted only about an hour, and then I actually felt some cooling relief. From then on, my infection symptoms continued to reduce. Within 24 hours, I was nearly symptom free, and I no longer needed the included topical cream. This is the first time a YI suppository treatment has worked that quickly for me. Mine was pretty bad too, as my skin broke and bled from all the itching. I will continue to buy this one from now on.
