If magnesium citrate contains 16.2% of elemental magnesium, how can 650mg of magnesium citrate contain 200mg of pure magnesium rather than 105.3mg?

Because it mixed with Magnesium Oxide but they do not declare it on the label. You are right, citrate is maximum 16.2% elemental magnesium. This is a bad product.

This product contains magnesium oxide, because it's impossible to get 30% elemental from citrate alone. why is this not on the label?

I asked them for the SDS (safety data sheet) and was surprised it stated that it contained less than 50% magnesium citrate and greater than 50% magnesium oxide. Not happy. Does this mean it contains 99% magnesium oxide? I find this kind of labelling extremely misleading.

Do these contain soya?

Soya is not listed on the ingredients on the bottle, but I would check on the manufacturer web site!!
