Vittoria Geax Mezcal II Foldable XC Tire

After a week I can say these are going to be great rolling tires. I've ridden cement/asphalt, dirt, limestone, and a little bit of single track with the Mezcals I received last week and felt great on all surfaces. The single track I had to get used to a bit, as I used to have a 2.25" Schwalbe Rapid Rob. Regardless, will be a great distance dirt road limestone trail tire.

Here's the truth about this tire:- This is a race light tire designed to fly down a dry, packed trail. It is not a mud tire so ignore negative reviews which slam it for not being a mud tire when it is not designed to be a mud tire.- As a CAT1 racer, I found this to be the fastest, lightest tire available with suitable tread to support fast straightaways as well as side knobs to support fast cornering.- Understand that big knobs slow you down a lot and aren't necessary on a dry trail so consider such a tire for dry conditions.- There are risks for such lightweight tires. Namely, you run the risk of cuts from sharp rocks like shale formations so only consider this for packed dirt trails with minimal rocks- Also, this tire works wonderfully on Stan's rims with Stan's NoTube liquid. I can go months without flats or leakage on such a combination.
