5Strands Vitamin & Mineral Imbalance Test, 150 Items Tested

Very accurate. Results in 7 days. I’m so very grateful for this test. I am definitely deficient in what came up. I’m so excited to be getting my thick hair back and ending this telogen effluvium crisis in my life. 12/13/2022 update!!! This test is a life saver and lengthener!!! I recommend it to everyone. The Deluxe kit is a holy grail must have. It coincided with my ancestry health tests that said I had a variant for a blood disorder. I had no idea for over 40 years that I had been eating foods that were making me anemic. The 5Strands testing empowered me to take control of my health and customize my diet and nutrition to my body’s needs. I eliminated all of the triggers & ingredients that were make me sick, nauseated, sluggish, and feeling blah. It has aided me in preserving my youth, longevity, and a trim figure. I love this testing so much I included the Deluxe kit in my Fall 2021 Business Communications class presentation on ‘Growing Your Hair Long’. There is only so much testing that insurance companies allow and doctors will do so this really enables us to uncover answers about the way you feel when all your bloodwork is normal but you feel subpar. It is a investment in your present and future that helps you reach optimal health goals. It is worth its weight in gold. I’m purchasing them for my mom, doggy, & best friend.

Living in an allopathic-dense area and not wanting to pay an exorbitant price for a blood test that may or may not give accurate results, I decided I would try this product. And I must say, I am amazed. All areas were screened; amino acids, vitamins, minerals, even elements such as strontium. The only thing I wish was different is the graph that is used. While the highly lacking areas did show up first, as compared to normal, etc., I would have appreciated a number to give me an idea of the exact amount. A color bar doesn't always work for me.

I was so excited about this test. I was feeling not the best and am currently going through menopause. I got the results after taking this test and loved the app etc. it seems very informative. I also happened to get bloodwork done at my Dr’s request. My results showed a severe vit d deficiency. But the 5Strands test showed no issues at all with this vit. Very disappointed and feel like it was a waste of money. I will go to the dr from now on for health information moving forward. I would like to say though that this brand has an amazing dog allergy test that changed my dogs life! It indicated all of his allergies and we changed his food and all his issues cleared up.

The test were done on 3 categories: food, nutrients, and environmental. In each test the aim is to list those items that may cause harm to our bodies. The items are ranked into 3 levels from highest intolerance (to avoid for 60 days) to the lowest (15 days) plus a normal level that it’s ok to consume or be exposed to. I love to drink tea an feel good after drinking it and naturally it’s at the normal level. I love cheese too but I often had that funny feel in my stomach after eating it. Cheese is categorized as level 3 red in this test. Another example is rubber, I can’t take the smell, long exposure makes me nausea. As expected it’s a red level 3 in environmental test. The results are very comprehensive and they offer a good reference points on what to avoid to have a healthier and better life. I believe we can always live better. The test is easy, just purchase the kit and send 15 strands of your hair. It’s non-evasive at all. And for less than $100 I think this test is a steal.

Let me be clear it is a good product and it was easy to use and the results are helpful. This is not a vitamin and mineral test for finding out the amount of vitamins and minerals in your body, it is a test for what vitamins and minerals your body has a hard time absorbing. Just felt a little misled by the other reviews I saw saying they were deficient or not in certain minerals, this will not tell you it you are deficient it will just show which you absorb easily and which you don’t absorb easily. (This is because only a blood test can test what you are actually deficient in) However, this is useful and I will be cross referencing with a blood test if this accurately predicted vitamins and minerals that I have a hard time absorbing are also what I am in fact deficient in. (Felt misled and made me think some reviews aren’t real because other users specifically said they were measuring deficiency. Maybe they just misunderstood the results. Maybe I also made a mistake, so if the business reaches out to me and explains it I will change my review to 4 stars because I did have a good experience overall and I own a business myself and know my customers misunderstand things I say all the time)

I take supplements regularly and have never known how my body responds. With this test I learned which ones my body can handle as well as which one I should be trying to get through whole foods rather than supplements. I recommend this for anyone who is equally curious. Plus the customer support is wonderful if you have any follow-up questions about your results.

Going to the doctors for lightheadedness, everything kept coming back fine other than my low red blood count. I had all of the symptoms of b12 deficiency, including the grey hair. Having gut issues my body wasn’t absorbing the nutrients I needed. This test confirmed my vitamin deficiencies I knew I had. I don’t trust bloodwork’s especially since my local hospital changed what is now normal for results, and other hospitals each have their own differences in analyzing blood. Nothing is full proof but this test definitely helped me and feel better.

The process to collect and submit a sample could not have been much easier. I downloaded the app and results updated on there automatically once they were available. It took about a week from the time I mailed it. The results indicated a lot of items that I needed to address which could be causing symptoms and I have currently restricted my diet and waiting to try adding them back. The whole experience has been easy and straight forward and provided a lot of insight into potentially problematic things I was not considering in my diet/environment. Highly recommend as a starting point if your overhauling your diet to eat healthy to make sure the foods/supplements you choose are a good fit for you individually.

En ce qui me concerne décue, je savais déja que plusieurs produits je réagissais et il n'ont pas ressortis dans les intolérances en rouge ni en jaune. Pour moi, en tout cas, pas concluant. Ca c'est seulement mon opinion personnel. Pour cette raison je donne 3 étoiles, parce que je croyais que mes intolérances connues allait ressortir dans le test.
