Roundhill Furniture Biony Fabric Counter Height Dining Bench with Nailhead Trim, Tan

I got this to put in front of a window for my cats to lounge on. It looks nicer in person than online. It’s very durable. I feel like my husband didn’t not complain too much when he had to assemble it.

This bench is the perfect height to serve as a window bench in my bedroom. I enjoy using it to sit by the window but my primary reason for buying it was to serve as a window seat for my American bulldog, Princess. She really enjoys watching the passing street activity. I did screw the bench to the floor with angle brackets so it won't move when she jumps on it. The bench was very easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and the upholstery is tough, yet very elegant looking. The bench is also very comfortable. I am more than pleased with my purchase.

I probably had it assembled 20 minutes after it arrived. There really are no directions (see my upload of the so-called "Assembly Instructions"). The four pictures don't really explain how you get from Step 2 to Step 3 where miraculously all the various support bars are installed. I didn't even realize two bolts go into each leg (because it's not shown on the illustrations) till I got to the end and wondered why I had 4 extra bolts. That said, I did it by myself. I have assembled other furniture-in-a-box type stuff. I first loosely attached the legs and then I was able to get the crossbars to stay in place long enough to get some screws in. The cross pieces have pegs that go in holes so as long as you don't knock the thing around, they'll stay in place temporarily while you secure everything. Some of the pegs were rough and I had to chip off bits of wood which I was able to do just with my fingers. Finally I gradually tightened the various screws and bolts little by little. One of my joints is not perfectly flush although I thought it started out flush. But no way was I backing out of everything to redo it. It feels strong enough. This is for my dog but it feels sturdy when I sit on it. Maybe not teenager sturdy. For those thinking of using it as a window seat for pets, keep in mind that your floor molding will keep the bench from sitting flush to the wall. I don't have any trim on my windowsills, so it leaves a gap. My dog is old and unsteady and also gets worked up when she sees dogs out the window. Previously she has slipped down into cracks like that, so I'm working on a plan to stuff it with somethingk.

I received the item a lot sooner that I expected. It is a very nice solid bench at an amazing price.

I love this bench! It is exactly as described and is perfect with my kitchen bar. Also was very easy to put together. I love it so much. I’m ordering a second one for the other side of my bar.

I love this stand!! It’s beautiful and durable. I’ve had it for 5 years now and it’s still standing. Good product for sure, and for the price.

We moved and my cat lost his bow window. I wanted to give he a place to watch outside. I bought one bench to put by the window for him. The bench is the right height. I like the looks of it. We just have one leg where the screw is not holding tight. I will try wood glue. We decided to add another bench by a window for the cat. This one was missing the center post. Since I am not using these benches to hold people, just to hold a 19 lb. cat, they will work.

Ordered this despite negative reviews: so glad I did. Beautiful nice high bench (for our cats for the windows), nice and light and easy to put together and truly is a beautiful looking bench very happy with it hot ❤️

I put this bench together today and it was easy. I’d love to buy another one in the near future. Nice change at the dinner table.

I assembled it myself ( women). Sturdy and compfortable, the nail trim is nice but I put an extra cover over to protect the cloth. I would like it with leather! Use it as my desk stool. Made in the USA :)
