Atkinson's Mint Twists Crushed Peppermint Candy for Baking 8oz Peg Bag

These crushed peppermint candies (red and white) are just the right size for baking. They are very minty and should be good in cakes, cookies, bars, sprinkled on top of desserts. Although they didn't arrive "overnight", they arrived in a timely manner once I found that they had been placed in a drop bag by the entrance to my building, not "in the mail room". Enjoy these bits of minty crunch. Bonus is that these bits are gluten free. So many sweets are not gluten free in America and it is appreciated.

I was disappointed when this candy came, because I thought it was the crushed, and I wasn't sure I could use it. But I found it very easy to crush. Leaving it enclosed in the cellophane, I used a hammer to crush it and empty it into another container. The reason I am writing this review, is to say that, this candy has the best texture and taste of all of their products. I especially like the texture of these as they aren't as hard as the crushed ones. This is my first review and I do most of my shopping on Amazon. This an choice of peppermint pieces. I use them to make chocolate pretzels and also over ice cream. They taste wonderful.

These are perfect for my Christmas Baking

I mean when you don't want to crush a million candy canes, just buy them. These are great around the rim of a glass or just in hot chocolate. Taste amazing.

These tasted perfect in our hot cocoa bar. All the guests really enjoyed it. They shipped fast and came as described. Excellent quality and price. Will purchase again next year.
