Last year I started keeping a journal of words, quotes, etc. that were meaningful to me, most of which I extracted from my monthly Oprah magazine. While I am an Oprah fan and appreciate her sharing her own feelings and experiences, there were many very personal and helpful quotes, observations from many, many people--authors, doctors, actors, comediens, etc. I was so excited when I found this book because it includes all of what I've been searching for and so much more. I've given this book as gifs to 6 people who have also fallen in love with it. It's a great source of inspiration, a stress reliever and a great bedside book.

I absolutely love Oprah. I'm so glad to have this book that puts some of her favorite quotes together in one place. This is definitely a good purchase if you are looking for some inspiration or motivation in your life. Relaxing with a book like this is my favorite kind of "me time" to rest and recharge.

I have been a fan of Oprah and have been subscribing to her magazine since it's insebtion. This book like everything g she is involved with is excellent. I enjoyed it from the first page to the last. I also appreciate that Amazon lets me know when a new book is available.

One of the best uplifting books I have read.I have shared a lot of these quotes with family and friends. I truly recommend this book you will find yourself going back to it over and over again.

It's an OK book, the words are from many different people, all celebrities in some form or fashion that have made statements and they are now published in this book. Some have an impact, but for the most part they are just statements with little substance. I read about half way through this book and put it down. I gave it three stars because the print is easy to read, the cover is nice and it gives a little insight.

It is one of my favorite books. My guests seem to love it too and I end up gifting it to them when they leave. Have had to buy it over and over again.

Ever since I watched my first 'Oprah' show in the 1980's, I have been inspired by this lady. I can't really explain what it is about her except to say that her opinions on life, love, wellbeing etc seem to resonate - make sense, if you will - with me, and I seem to agree with her views on pretty much.So I was stunned to see this book on Amazon and ordered it immediately, and was right in doing so.It's full of inspirational quotes from Oprah that I'd long forgotten and was right to be reminded of - things like appreciating what you have rather than what you don't have (and let's face it, we all do that, don't we? Be honest). Whenever I feel a little low of mood, or it's a dull, grey, rainy day (or a combination of the two), I reach for this book and feel really invigorated, motivated and THANKFUL for what I have in Life, though that may be as much as I would like.A lovely book also to give as a gift - perhaps to someone who is alone in life. They would really thank you for it.Truly inspiring, delightful and insightful - exactly what I would expect from anything with the 'Oprah' branding.

I suppose the words that matter to you will be very different to the ones that matter to anyone else, and this is how this book struck me. As such, it’s prompted me to pay more attention to what DOES genuinely affect me so that gives this book greater importance than its content

The sayings are quite varied and some very interesting and relevant but some in the book didn't mean much to me. I'm afraid it didn't keep me as interested as I thought it would. Medicroe

I could read this book everyday and only hope my outlook on my own life can change and I start to adopt some of Oprahs principles. This phenomenon is doing something right

This book is timeless with a fantastic selection of quotes which are motivational, spiritual and very interesting. Oprah is one of my all time heroes and this book does not disappoint.
