It moves and lights up, but no music?** A: On the back, there is a disc-like part. Roll it one way, then the other and the music should play. It also adjusts the volume. I just love it. It does make a slight noise if run on silent, but that is just the music box running. When the music volume is turned up you don't hear it you just hear the music. the horses go up and down and are all painted beautifully. Brings back so many childhood memories. I love Carousels and there just is not enough of the old ones around anymore. Just a few small ones at traveling fairs and carnivals.
