Carlson Kid's Chewable Iron, 15 mg, Energy Production, 60 Chewable Tablets

These iron pills have been great for my child. They’re easy to take, and I appreciate the quality. Very satisfied!

This vitamin is bearable taste wise, compared to some kids chewable with the taste and texture. Don’t expect something like sweat tart candy or anything that makes you or your child super excited to take them everyday, because they do still have that slight vitamin taste, but that’s because well, they are a vitamins and not candy. I’ve just read a lot of parents saying how much their kids look forward to it. I think it’s because they’re children and like sweet candy resembling things 🫣. Personally, I’m not sure if they are really working or not yet, because I’ve only had two so far. I’m hoping on my next blood work results, I’ll see a difference in my hemoglobin. I take another iron supplement called Integra plus too and eat pretty healthy, but I’m hoping the chewable will boost it a little more. I would recommend these vitamins. They are reasonably priced, and they taste ok too. It says store in a dry cool place. I put mine in the refrigerator to last longer. Update: my hemoglobin came back 11.6 and was 8.7. Of course I’m doing some other supplements and foods to help, but I think that this iron may be helping too :) .

My sons 15 month apt his hemoglobin was low very low, 7.2 so we went to do blood work just to be sure, when the results came back it was worse then we thought. Dr prescribed ferrous sulfate 60g which my son vomited immediately after ingestion no matter how much with or without food. I came across these iron tablets which I cut into quarters. So for one tablet I cut it in half 2 times which gave me 4 little pieces and I gave them to my son one at a time he would dissolve them in his little cheek and didn’t give any issues with the taste. After I gave him 2 tablets 30g every morning I would give him a dose of vitamin C which helps the iron to absorb better. I wanted to tackle the issue at every angle possible, so I also made a lentil and veggie soup and blended it up so he would eat that about every day for at least one of his meals. Lentils are very rich in iron. Sprouted lentils are best. Also I have been giving him VITAL EARTH TRACE minerals( amazon has them ) fulvic and humic mineral blend. I put 1/2 oz in his 4-6oz distilled water every day. Anytime he needs a drink it’s his mineral water. I’m giving this in detail review because it might help someone. I feel so accomplished because each day I was very consistent in his regimen to get his levels up where they need to be. I’m only 6 weeks I went back to the dr and my sons iron went from a 7.2 to a 10.1 I’m amazed and super happy. But I still am going to continue for 2 more months and have his blood work done again just to make sure it goes up a little more to get right at around 12 which is where it supposed to be. They tasted good for an iron pill. My son elate it without complaining. Good product overall. I know I can trust the brand to be clean and potent.

I bought it for my 7-year-old son; it tastes good, and I really saw him regain his energy.

I was worried she would refuse to chew this one since it’s not a gummy vitamin - rather it’s a hardish chewable tablet. Flavor is nice, but I recommend having a drink or food to chase it - the aftertaste could be an issue for picky kiddos. So thankful my 3 little people will take this iron without complaint

My son is anemic and has tried so many different brands, this one actually has helped and increased his iron levels (according to bloodwork) a long with he says it has the best taste ever! It’s his favourite one to take!
