It had some nasty black glue at the bottom, I expected much more from a premium product and brand. I own the Helsinki and it arrived perfect. I contacted Vifa directly and they were no help, just told me to return and reorder another one. I even told them I didn't want to go through desertcart as the package was lost at first. So, I ordered another speaker at $200 and sent the other back which I was later refunded. This one actually worked and it has the original stock firmware which has less bass than the new one. I really like the sound as it is, it is very clear and detailed. Very good for acoustic music etc. I use it with everything but sometimes if I need more bass, I will use the Helsinki instead. I would recommend this speaker as a secondary speaker for certain genres. As a primary speaker, I would update the firmware or buy a Denon Envaya. Overall I love the looks of the speaker, the sound is very detailed, and wool version feels great. The cons would be the QC issues, customer service issues, and the fact that you cannot update via app or mac, only windows. I don't own a windows computer and don't have access to one. The mids and highs on this speaker really saved it. I would really love to listen to the Oslo and the Copenhagen next! Review: The sound is beautiful - Aesthetically pleasant but not much volume.

Good quality, but there is a flaw
The design of this portable speaker is top notch. It looks expensive, unusual shape, pleasant to the touch, good non-standard colors. You take it in your hand and realize that the speaker is great. But then you turn it on. The sound is not the best on the market. There's a lot of bass missing. I compared it to the Bose SoundLink Flex and the Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 2nd Generation. Bose is louder, but Bang & Olufsen gives much better sound quality.

Great sounding speaker for close range listening.
I bought the Reykjavik during black friday and having already listened to it before I performed firmware update right away. The difference in sound quality is night and day, the lows have been greatly improved without sacrificing details and overall volume. Build quality is top notch like all Vifa products. My main use for this speaker is for watching movies and series while laying on the bed, and thanks to the omnidirectional sound I don't need to worry about moving it around for the perfect listening angle. Battery for me lasts between 6-8 hours at 70% volume which equals to several days of use. It charges pretty fast at 2A with the included cable and what I like the most about the ring light is that it serves as battery level indicator, as compared to my Vifa Helsinki which is hard to know how much juice it's got left. Some people have reported the volume buttons being hard to press, haven't had such issues with mine yet, after some use you will get used to the raised/recessed volume controls. Outdoor listening, not such a pleasant experience. The sound gets lost and even at maximum volume it sounds tiny and weak even at ~10ft listening distance. Still 5 stars for it's intended purpose: high end sound signature for indoors, multi directional close range listening. If you want a outdoor speaker with water resistance, just get a JBL flip4 or charge 3 instead.

Great sound quality!
As a small business owner, I listen to music most of the day and the Vifa Reykjavik is more than I expected. Super easy to connect via Bluetooth and I was listening to music within a couple of minutes. The sound is amazing with a strong base and a clarity that I had not expected nor experienced before from such a small loudspeaker. With this sound quality I can listen all day without my ears (or brain?) getting exhausted. It feels really solid in quality and I love the stylish look of it as well. This is my new friend and will follow me from room to room all day and night, if I can keep it away from my son and husband :-) I would definitely buy a product from this company again!

Died after 1 year (But great sound & looks)
[UPDATE: After almost 1 year the Vifa stopped charging. Returned fir repair, Vifa was very prompt. Worked another 2 months & died again. Luckily we also bought sn extended warranty; now returning for refund and will buy something else. Very sad as this one sounds SO good😩] It sounds fantastic. And looks elegant and unobtrusive, unlike most of its competitors. Only issue is it has to be connected manually to the phone each time; you can’t just choose it from the list of devices in the player. Puzzling.

Beautiful sounding speaker
The Reykjavik is an amazing little speaker. Sound well balanced with a beautiful tuning. When I got it I felt the volume too low so I did a research and found the newest firmware. After that the sound complete changed… for better. The volume increased noticeable (no party level volume) and the bass got more weight. The mids got a little lower but for a speaker meant to be used as ambient speakers not a critical listening one having more weight in the bass helps a lot for a better experience.

Beautiful minimalist design with sound quality that’s above the rest.
Packs a punch for its size. All VIFA speakers offer exceptional clarity and bass, though this smaller unit sacrifices some of the stellar performance offered by VIFA’s larger models. Nonetheless the Reykjavik boasts terrific sound in a beautifully designed portable package. A final note: the Reykjavik definitely benefits from an extended burning in period. The more it is used the better it sounds.

Richtiger Knaller - Breiter Stereosound

Amazing sound!
This speaker is absolutely amazing. Sound is very natural and pleasant to listen to, doesn't create sound fatigue after longer periods of listening like other premium bluetooth speakers. There is a update(windows only) which improves the bass and change the characteristics of the tuning but have to say it sounds brilliant before or after FW update. I got two of these to pair in stereo mode which works faultlessly only thing is there is a lag when you watch a video. But no problem if you listen only one a the time. Had a few bluetooth speakers before and i think ive found the right one.
