They were folded in shipment, but , the fold flattened out immediately once opened. They do not slide around on the table, are reasonably heavy weight. Have not attempted cleaning but see no reason there should be any issues as I've read some have. BTW, first shipment was mangled in transit and was returned by USPS. Replacement was perfect.
