Worth the extra time.
This felt like an odd purchase but we live with agin parents in the basement. Working from home my husband wanted his office to be as sound proof as possible. He is a very loud talker on the phone. (Not sure what that is about, his normal talking voice is fine). But this was very heavy and a little tricky to hang up. Thankfully my husband is super handy so he hung a 2x4 to hang it up and we moved it down as we attached to the ceiling. A little extra work but worth it. Held up well while we hung it up. They cannot hear him on the phone which is amazing.

Works well at reducing noise levels. Good customer service.
It is a pain to cut evenly without special tools but not impossible, however even installed directly to the walls with sound tiles over it(as in the photo) it works pretty well at reducing noise outside and inside. Fedex lost one package in my order for about two weeks. I contacted the company and the replacement arrived promptly. 👍

Noisy neighbor solution
I installed it on my drywall since I rent an apartment and I have noisy neighbors. It was easy to install and it worked to help reduce noise. Now I want to do my living room too.

Kinda works.
I was a little disappointed 😞 😔. I can still hear the noise from outside. I can hear car mufflers, radios, delivery trucks. For the cost I thought this would work. This would probably work if we already had normal insulation in our walls.

No more echoes and sense of calm.
First time adding audimute and the difference is very noticeable. No more annoying echoes sound seems to be absorbed through the wall. Great product. Would recommend.

Mass Loaded Vinyl: A must have for home stuidio construction.
The pros greatly outweigh any cons with this product. read up on it use and installation instructions.

Good alternative to MLV, easy to install, green, but a bit less heavy/effective
Used this in place MVL in sound insulating a pickup truck. Worked well the material is flexible and easy to install. I picked it due to cost and wanting a "greener" product than virgin MLV. This overall was a great balance of effectiveness, price and environmental concerns. I would use it in another car install
