I chose 3-9 months because that's the age range that my baby will be within for the winter, but there's s big difference between a 3 month old and a 9 month old. So beware if you're buying it for a 3 month old. Other than that, it's been great! I am not really sure how warm it will keep my toddler. However, that is normal for snow suits. So, it is what it should be and I’ll keep it for snow.This was the only one piece I could find for her age, 18 months. I am just looking for something warm to put on her for the early AM bus stops. Something that she can’t take off since she likes to take everything off. They make them for babies, but not toddlers. The purple color was as nice as shown in the picture. It looked cute on my granddaughter. Two things could have been improved, however. One was the fact that the hood should have had a drawstring to tighten it. It kept falling off her head. She will need a hat to wear underneath it. The other issue was with the booties. They weren’t sufficient to keep her feet dry and didn’t fit properly over shoes. Snow boots are recommended to purchase instead. Other than that, the snowsuit itself is great.
