Cats loved it. It will take an hour or two to put together
The box itself is heavy of course so definitely make sure if you live in an apartment or have several stairs that you have help getting this inside. I noticed anything heavy seems to be left downstairs and not at my door. Had a neighbor not helped me I wouldn't have been able to get this up the stairs. The cat tree I put together Christmas day as I didn't have a place to "hide" it until Christmas morning for them (silly, I know 😜) and it took me about 2hrs to get it fully built. I didn't have any difficulties with it except the ramps which I will say to screw the piece that attaches to the ramp first and then screw it to the tree and definitely make sure to screw that on BEFORE you attach that level to the tree otherwise you have to bend over trying to find the right spot to screw it in and it becomes a pain of either laying the whole tree down to do it or trying to get up and under to do it. So definitely attach those first. My cats do love it although they won't got all the way to the top seat and Idk if it's because they can't see out the window up there or if it's because they are scared but they do use every other part of it. I throw their toys all over it to keep them busy while on it. I will say we had this since Christmas morning and it's now March 9th and the ropes are already coming undone from my cats scratching on them which is their purpose so I wish those were glued better or had 2 layers but I'm guessing I will probably have to buy some of that rope online and redoing it myself when the time comes.

Lasts long term
I’ve had this cat tree for 4 years and it’s held up great! Never tipped over, and it hasn’t fallen apart one bit. Which is surprising because my cat is on it all the time. Definitely worth the money

It has been a great purchase, Cats have loved it all the time I has been in my house
Have had it for around a year, maybe more maybe less. It has served its purpose. I am going to buy a new one same as this one. My cat are close cutting through the middle support posts. My cats are unusually destructive. This product has taken all the abuse that other furniture would have had done to it be my cats. They are happy to aim all their destructive behavior at the cat tree. I am happy with everything about this cat tree.

It came with 2 broken pieces I wasn't going to use anyway
I bought this to replace an older version that was worn out. I had my original for several years and most of the twine had came loose. I like the footprint pattern because it helps to hide stains. The first one I had I paid about $50 for and lasted me more than 5 years. This one is double the price. I placed mine in a corner for added stability. I did not attach it to the wall.I always hated the ladders and didn't plan on using them on this one. They are difficult to vacuum around especially the one that goes to the floor. Good thing I wasn't going to use them because BOTH came broken in half. It did not happen during shipment. It was packaged this way. I didn't try to ship it back because I wasn't going to use them anyway. This is very sad because had I wanted to use them it would have been a real disappointment. I suggest if you don't plan on assembling it right away to open the box and look over all the pieces closely.Comparing the 2 versions I had there were likes and dislikes. The 3 triangle perches the cats can lie on were much bigger on this version. That I, and my cats liked a lot. I don't like that the posts aren't completely twined top to bottom and instead have that paw print cloth partly on them. That's a waste of space cats can use for scratching their claws. I like the boxes on these are made of wood where the last version had cloth that hung over the sides. But the top box is much smaller than it used to be. That's where my cats lie the most. I was afraid they wouldn't use it. They do squeeze into it but they hang out and it's much shorter. I wish they hadn't shrank the size of that box. The inside of the box sides do not have any fabric on them and are bare wood. Only the bottom where the cat lays and the outside have cloth. That will make it easier to vacuum but will absorb vomit and stain if that happens..Realize if you get this it will need to be vacuumed. I vacuum mine weekly and get quite a bit hair off. A vacuum with a long hose and a power attachment works well. The triangles are high up so you will need a vacuum you can lift high and something to stand on to do it. Realize the top triangle perch is about 6' tall when assembled.WARNING: The mouse on the string is WAY TOO LONG and DANGEROUS. Surprisingly I heard one of my cats screaming a couple days after assembled and he had wrapped the string around one of his toes and couldn't get free. I had to set a panicking, screaming cat free while trying not to get bit. It has now stretched out even more to over 6" long. The string is heavy duty and I'm afraid while I'm gone a cat might get strangled. Give it a hard pull and you'll see it doesn't break off easy and would hold the weight of your cat by it's neck. On the the first cat tree I bought, the cats ripped off the toy themselves a couple months later. I have cut this one off and I'm going to put a break away piece in and reattach it. Think about if you really want to take a chance with that. I saw another customer complain it had caught her cat's tail and she found it stranded and screaming. That being said, it really should only be 2" long at most and maybe a break away design for safety. If you move it any real distance you will need to carefully take it apart and reassemble. Don't move this house to house or up the stairs without taking it apart. It's made of particle board and will not survive. That's common sense. Label your small pieces in bags. Maybe save the instructions and think ahead. The directions are well written. The pieces to put it together are in well labeled packages. That makes it putting it together much easier. All the pieces are not in the same bag so you don't have to go on a hunt and seek mission figuring what fits with what to assemble. It comes with an Allen wrench (hex key) that fits the pieces so if you loose it just get a set. Also, over time it will begin to loosen from your cat climbing on it so you will need to keep tightening it up. You might want to keep this tool and label what it's for if you don't have a set of Allen wrenches.Overall I find it acceptable. The smaller top box, the broken pieces and the dangerous hanging mouse are my main concerns. Know what to expect if you buy this thing.

Cats love it.
Durable. Easy to assemble. The rope sections are very good for the cats to scratch, the carpets are durable and a texture they love to rub against, and the top platforms are bar none their favorite place. Our cats are a bit too big for the cat condos, but they still wiggle partway into them from time to time... Would be excellent for smaller (than our huge) cats, especially those who are shy.It hasn't stayed in perfect condition over the year+ we've had it, but it's kept our cats from scratching up the other furniture, and given that a year on there's still fresh rope for them to scratch at, it's far more cost effective to just... Replace this annually than to, say, buy enough cardboard scratch pads (which they don't even like as much) to last that long. They also eventually managed to remove the mouse toy after over a year, but given the way they've destroyed their other toys, and it took them that long to rip the mouse in half (since the rope it's on isn't going anywhere), I'll take that as a win. Smaller cats that play less aggressively probably won't even put a dent in the thing. So, yeah, we've been very happy with the purchase, and will probably eventually buy another.
