Gorgeously Illustrated Edition of Classic.
Printed with large print, on fine paper & colorful illustrations, this retelling of the Arthurian legends is a beautiful hardcover volume which is a welcome addition to any collection.

Nice book for a first introduction to the King Arthur saga
The book has some nice illustrations at the beginning of each chapter. We acquired it as an introduction to the legends of King Arthur for our son. For a six-year old, the story is sometimes still a bit complicated (and not enough pictures in between), so we switched to the Usborne Young Reading version for now. But I assume this version will be perfect when we try it again in two years.

Beautiful
This book is small but thick. It has beautiful illustrations and a lovely attached ribbon bookmark. We read this as a family and enjoyed discussing the classic themes. Afterwards, we all started noticing Arthurian themes everywhere! So glad that my kids (5 to 10) could understand the themes and follow the stories. This was our first of this series of books and we have since purchased many others. Check the information at the back of the book before starting the story for a great background.

Great stories with colourful pictures
My 6 year old son gets lost in these stories and has now started reading them to himself (after several readings by me so he knows the stories and names). He really loves the tales and I've enjoyed reading them too. Good for older children to immediately read to themselves too if they are more fluent readers. Lovely pictures too. Another great book from usborne!
