Colron Refined Wood Dye 250ml Georgian Medium Oak

It’s the second time I’ve used this product. It covers well I used three Coates as I wanted the finish a little darker. If you apply it with the purchased lintless cloths it goes on well with no brush marks Finish with three Coates of Danish Oil then Beeswax it’ll guarantee a good job on stripped antique furniture.

Brilliant as always I paint on quickly with a large brush keeping damp until a section finished so with 750 ml covered 24m of skirting one door frame and a very large cupboard all in new softwood and after 3 coats match very well.

Multiple coats used to get to the right colour and suggest brushing the coats on rather than using a sponge or a cloth, I used the latter method first and it was far too light, brushing it on got the desired effect much quicker

Very effective. Found it best to apply with a sponge to get best even colouring.

When is dry is more light and still need varnish

I use this wood dye for my new internal doors in my house… so I’ll buy some more! Because I need more wood dye!
