A detailed review after 2 weeks of usage... First off don't go with the half knowledged reviews regarding the sound bar... A sound bar is not the same as a home theatre... Sure it will enhance the movie viewing experience(this one does a lot more...) but it will not give you a true surround sound experience. For 8000rs this fairly gives you a lot more than what other sound bars can. This sound bar works best on optical connection. DOLBY Digital and DTS will not work on 3.5mm or bluetooth. So why does this still get a 5 star rating... The quality of the soundbar alone without DD and DTS is very impressive. For a 15 feet room the base features are more than enough for an awesome cinematic viewing experience. Having said that, you can make this work the best if you have a LG tv or a ps or xbox or setup box or streaming box(apple tv, Roku etc...)which will make full utilization of the Dolby digital and DTS. Yes unless you have movies that are actually encoded in Dolby digital(DD and not DDP) or DTS(not DTS-x) and your own tv supports them, you will not be able to utilise them. The only other way to utlizie DD and DTS is if you have a audio encoder/decoder(if your tv does not natively supports it) and pass the sound bar through that. Mind you again DD and DTS are rignt now tad bit old and the newer ones that are more commonly found even on Netflix and Prime are DDP and DTS-X. So for anyone who wants to buy it for those 2 features mainly then think twice before you make this choice and that goes the same for any sound bar. Ensure you have capable hardware that will support the features. Keeping that aside, talking about the 3 sound modes that are present 1. ACS : Automatic sound control. This is ok, in my opinion not that useful 2. Bass blast : best for hearing music 3. Cinema mode: Best for watching movies. Over all, it's a very impressive soundbar that will definitely elevate the home cinema and gaming experience by a lot... The only 2 cons for me were no provision of HDMi Arc port and no detailed display of audio settings apart from the source selected.

I purchased it during Amazon sale at 7500. At that price you cannot compare it with others. Go for it. 1. Sound quality is good on Bluetooth and optical cable. 2. Very balanced sound. If you r bass lover then don't go for it. But if you want to listen the clear music and sound then go for it. 3. easy installation. You can install it by yourself. 4. For a room or a hall it will not disappoint you. 5. connectivity is ok. 6. Value for money if you buy it around 7500-8000. 6. If u r using Aux cable for connecting then don't expect much from this. To get good sound either connect it with Bluetooth or optical cable.

Nice soundbar with clarity of sound, decent base. This product is for person who wants good sound- not for heavy bass lovers who want room shaking effects. Got optical cable(surprised !!) and wall mount kit with it. Loudness: clear loud voice like 100W soundbar. good for a 400-500sq feet room also. Doesn't look like 200W for woofer Look: different appealing look, but don't touch speakers & specially tweeters- may damage as there is no protection Base : nice decent deep base. Can increase bass level but heavy bass lovers will be little disappointed. Pairing with subwoofer: didn't face any problem at all. Gets conncted every time I switch on. No issue faced. Bluetooth: connects with TV and mobile easily. I faced frequent disconnction issue with my mobile. I placed my wifi router 4 feet away from soundbar and the problem solved. Pls keep other wave emitting device away from soundbar and woofer. My mobile had bluetooth tpms system app which also caused problems. Connection:Aux works Good, use bluetooth for better and optical for best result Tip : Press " cinema" mode for best result and than increase bass if needed. Press "ASC" mode for news etc. Price: good deal below 7500. price was 7200 (8K with 10% discount during republic day sale) but couldn't find SBI card from any feiend. Price Increased to 8300 by the time I ordered. Price went to 10500 and suddenly I saw that price is 7640 a day before delivery. So, cancelled order and reordered at 7250Rs with 5% cashback on amazon credit card. Price fluctuation is like stock market Cons: Speakers are open - no. protection No HDMI input ( that's the reason for low price - so nothing to worry) No LED display to show volume, bass level or current mode. Only small leds to show which connection is currently in use ( optical/ aux/ bluetooth/ LGtv/ USB)

Sound quality is absolutely amazing. I have booked Boat Avante 200W on March 18,2020, but could not get the delivery due to lock down. And ultimately that is cancelled. Again I have booked LG SJ3 on Flipkart on June 23,2020 in sale and got refund as they too could not deliver. I was little disappointed. And then grabbed an opportunity for only one piece remaining on July 18,2020 on Amazon @9,500/+ IGST @18% and got delivery on July 22,2020. My total cost is Rs. 9,500/- as I am a owner of a company and taking input credit of IGST. Value for money. Crystal clear acoustic sound. Woofer has again a teriffic effect of depth punch. Just go for it. And needless to mention Amazon for their fast services. Note: Listen the audio with earphone/headphone

Let's talk about the PROs first. Low Price, Wireless Sub, Auto Power On/Off. Dolby and DTS Surround over Optical work but pretty limited in the sound stage. Sound Pressure is Limited but there is no audible distortion. That's about it. Now the CONs. As per spec Main Speaker SPL = 82dB / Woofer = 85dB. Listening experience say otherwise. Not only BASS the sound is overall low for a 300W RMS system. So the Cinematic Moments loss their charm. For those who LOVE it LOUD would be seriously disappointed. The Mids have a muddiness that ruins Dialogue Clarity. Highs are not balanced either. So it performs badly both in MUSIC and CINEMA. These days all these speakers are designed with CLASS-D Smart Amps that can control speaker excursions dynamically without frying it but giving max SPL. This LG sounds like having a BrickWall Limiter at the end of processing chain that ruins the sound at higher volumes. Bluetooth gets disconnected Now and Then and then pairing becomes difficult Optical Input has about 3 Frames Delay so LipSync issue too

This came in open boxed condition and I was worried it might have been tampered with. Nevertheless, I always wanted a soundbar for my room as the sound from tv speakers alone wasn’t sufficient. The first option was the obvious Mi soundbar which was attractive due to its pricing. But I wanted a dedicated subwoofer without the hassles of wire. I came across this soundbar and with much scepticism ordered it, although there weren’t many reviews about this. This soundbar did come as a pleasant surprise to me. The sound was crisp and clear and everything right from musical instruments to dialogues were clear and sounded as they were meant to be. However, the bass in this soundbar is not punchy enough but thats not a deal breaker as it more than much makes it up by the sound quality. Also the speakers lack any cover so you’ll have to be extra careful with these. After using, I would definitely say this is a must have if you prefer quality music over Boom Boom. For reference, my tv size is 32 inches.

It is ok. I can live with it as I have installed it in my guest room. What I like 1. Vocals are good as it processes dialogues very well (as advertised) 2. Design is good (except for the part mentioned below). The midrange drivers are different, safe to be kept open (the bar doesn’t come with a grill) 3. Given inputs does the job. Now, here are the things that I don’t like. 1. I mentioned it looks good with open speakers but it has soft dome twitters and keeping it open increases the risk of it being damaged. Only the tweeters should be covered. 2. No display - trust me this is horrible. Any A/V receiver/processor without display is frustrating. Input selection, sound mode needs a display. 3. The puny subwoofer. There is so much lacking here. It does not match the output of the bar and base is not good. The enclosure is small but that shouldn’t have been a problem if the driver was capable and the port was optimised (may be it is better sealed). It seems as it no thought has gone through n designing the sub. After designing the bar the engineer was so tired that upon asking he said “what the hell, just make a box and throw the driver in”.

Sound bAR is amazing, Sound Quality is crystal clear and Deep thump Bass if you listening from Bluetooth, Using on Optical cable sound output is less but clear,, This speaker gives different Bass punch like theature sound excellent Value for money Woofer design is Matt finish looks attractive decent Good connectivity options AUX, Optical,Bluetooth and USB It's Good LG brand products Only the sound Bar is not having protection speaker cover Overall everything Good and mark as excellent from my side
