I've had this mixer since before Christmas when my last one broke. Every time I use it I want to write a review because it's so good. Just holding it, it feels sturdy. I like the blades because they're thin and easier to clean. I also like the lever under the handle that ejects the blades but doesn't make them fly through the air as one mixer I had did. The cord where it enters the mixer turns in different directions so when you have the mixer on the base it sits well. What I like the best is that it has an actual very slow setting. When I start out my ingredients don't fly all over the counter because the setting is slow at the start. Because it's fairly powerful that slow setting works, whereas hand mixers I've had before needed to have a faster setting just to get the power. I noticed as another commenter talked about the high setting being slower. I asked AI about that and even the high setting does start out slow because it's made that way and then after a short time the speed picks up. It was also suggested that it was better for the mixer motor to start out slow and then go into higher speeds. I've used it on so many things including cookies that are thicker, Royal frosting that can get thick, and it works well without stress on the motor. It would be nice to have a countertop mixer but I don't have the room for that. I feel that this mixer is good as it gets. It's just a little more expensive but it's well worth it and if it's broke down I would get another one like this

This mixer is a great value. It is easy to use and the beaters are well designed. The mixer has an initial slow speed and it does a great job mixing without throwing out flourl. The mixer body with attached cord, beaters, and whisk all neatly fit in a durable case. It does not come with dough hooks but dough hooks would be hard to use on a hand mixer. If you need an appliance for making bread, I would get a sturdy stand mixer.

Replaced an old Sunbeam mixer that probably came over with the Mayflower pilgrims. This new GB one works just fine, and as others have mentioned. Pros: Love the low-speed-start that prevents you from taking a bath from spray back from the 'stuff' you are mixing. Runs smoothly & quietly. Cons: The weight/size is just a tad wee tiny bit heavy/large. The poor design of the plastic storage stand - I don't even use that since it does not 'mate' with the mixer easily and removing the mixer from it is awkward at best. The cord protrudes from the back in a way that prevents the mixer sitting tilted back with beaters resting on the bowl. Also the beaters have specific holes they have to be inserted into (weird). Overall, in spite of the above oddeties, it does the job quite well.

Excellent mixer. Just as I expected. I can always depend on kitchenaid. The compartment to store the beaters is a nice convenience

This is powerful and quiet. The anti-swivel cord is a plus. It is lightweight, and the beaters are easy to install and remove. This is the best hand mixer I've owned. Love it!

I love this, especially the storage container. It holds the blades and then the mixer clicks into the storage container so it’s all one piece together and it’s small enough. It takes up very little space in my pantry. I would buy it again and I would also buy it for gifts. It works very well and mixes everything I have mixed so far very well. There are the basic attachment and then there is an attachment that’s more like a flour dough mixer.

Excelente produto, fácil manuseio, leve porém muito robusta. E o fato de a velocidade número 1 ser bem lenta é um enorme diferencial porque não espalha nem líquidos e nem sólidos. Altamente recomendável. Vale cada centavo. Muito satisfeito.

Nice mixer , great it comes with a case , has only two mixers but who needs the dough hooks anyway with a hand mixer , great warranty with this machine 5 years , hard to find one with that kind of warranty , would highly recommend
