Used this to remove old PPF. At least 12y old, possibly up to 17y if it was installed from new by previous owner. Much better than IPA, acetone, methanol. Works best by liberally applying and waiting a minute before scraping. Paper towel isn't great to wipe off final residue. I'd recommend a microfiber to better 'buff' off the last bits of adhesive. I used a 4oz bottle to remove around 5-6 sq ft of stubborn old PPF residue, which took about 4 hours (excluding time to remove the film itself).

This is not a "spray it on and wipe it off" type of product but it does get the job done if you follow the instructions and are willing to keep at it. Try looking for some adhesive removers for 3M's super adhesives and you won't find them. This is one that does work and I was very happy to make the job doable. Spray, wait, scrape off the gunk, repeat 3 or more times and you will be done. I used a razor blade on to remove adhesive on glass. On other surfaces like paint, I would use a plastic scraper tool. Gloves and eye protection are recommended. I did a 1 foot square piece of glass and used only 1/4 of the bottle. It works!

Fantastic. I used this to remove the last remnants of tint glue that Goo Gone couldn’t get. The 4 oz bottle was plenty for a single windshield. I pretty much have the whole bottle left. Very satisfied with this product
