Wow. Five stars is an understatement. I've had these for five and a half years. I've never had to readjust them and the only cleaning I do is to vacuum and/or silicone brush them occasionally because my 40 lb dog sheds a lot ... even on the stairs. I am only one person with one dog, but we go up and down the stairs about 450,000 times per day and the dog frequently tears up and down them like a crazed dervish. These treads have never budged. Literally not even once. They have exceeded my expectations by a thousandfold, at least. I did follow the directions meticulously when I installed them and I really took my time. But it's crazy that they've held up so well for so long without any "real" adhesive. Magic, indeed!! I'm looking at these on Amazon today because a few of mine are looking a little squashed down, so I was considering replacing the set, although they are still 100% functional and they don't look bad. But looking at them here today reminded me that they are hand-washable, so maybe I'll try that first ... I am so glad that somebody somewhere still makes a great product that is meant to last. I freaking love these things.

Love them! Exactly what I needed - thye are so pretty and elegant, great fit, easy to put on, and work against slipping. My steps are shorter than the normal ones, and these were the shorter ones I could find - so happy!

Super happy with these. We have three small Yorkies (little guy is there pounds) and our wood stairs were a little too much for them. Ordered in cream beige, the color was true to website. The treads are soft they feel great underfoot and much more cushion than wood without being too cushioned where you or your pets would lose balance. The back peels off super easy. I'm really unsure what the complaints on this were about I think the people were literally trying to tear off the grip part. The backs are not adhesive but grip tremendously well. It's more like a rubber coat that keeps it from slipping but much more stable than say a rubber backed bathmat. It's great because you can adjust them as needed or take one off easily to clean. We oil the stairs annually and there has been no issue whatsoever with movement of these. They wrapped the bullnose on our stairs perfectly. They really look pretty, they feel great and the dogs are much more comfortable and safe on the stairs. Glad we went with this brand after looking at several. Definitely recommend.

We really like these stair treads, our old ones were sliding around and our toddler kept removing them from the stairs. These are perfect and once down do not move at all, they are very sticky, but still removable. They were also really easy to place and align, just remove the plastic liner and slowly put in place. I did have to readjust once or twice when I didn't have the corner flush against the stairs, but it was easy enough to lift up a bit and adjust. When running my hands over the treads, there is a bit of oil or chemical that came off onto my hands, so I made sure to vacuum them thoroughly once applied. There is no smell though. We had some spillage once and had to remove one stair tread to clean it, however the hard edge supports inside broke, so if you are lifting these up, roll them to the front slowly instead of trying to lift up from one edge to the other. Luckily I still had 2 extra that I could replace with.

I purchased these carpeted stair treads after seeing my mother’s elderly cat slip on her wood stairs. A fall would be a devastating injury at his age so I started searching for a solution. These stair treads were the solution. Now he can go up and down the stairs with confidence as he can dig his claws in to help with stability. As a bonus, my mother also feels more secure going up and down the stairs. In terms of installation, it doesn’t get much easier. I vacuumed the stairs and then wiped them down to remove any remaining debris. I laid them all out first to assure they were even and used a piece of painter’s tape to mark where to put them down once I peeled off the plastic backing. It was no problem peeling the plastic backing off and laying them back down on the stairs. I would say it took about 30 minutes to complete the process and the cat tried them out within minutes. My mother’s only comment is they do hold onto pet hair so they need to be cleaned with a sticky roller to remove that buildup. Even with that drawback, they are still a 5/5 due to appearance, ease of installation, and the instant improved footing on the stairs. Highly recommend.

Extremely pleased with this set of stair treads, color Khaki Mini-diamond Trellis! The only wish I have is that the treads came in a set of 16 because that is how many steps we have, but I ordered one set of 14 and one set of two, and both were matching in color! Yay! We needed stair treads because our kids would wear socks down the woods stairs and slip. My husband said that the treads also absorb some of the empty sound in the house.Previously I had purchased the cream gray color because someone said in a review that the cream gray was more taupe than gray, and I thought that would be good, but it was too dark and not suited for our tan/caramel LVP floors. I returned the cream gray, which was kind of a pain with the large box, but not impossible and I’m glad I did! The color of these Khaki ones is kinda creamy caramel. It lightens my stairs a little and blends perfectly with our flooring. I cleaned the steps and set my husband to the task of applying the treads. He didn’t complain at all about any difficulty removing the plastic backing. It took a minute or two to make sure how to center them, but it was a fairly quick job. The backs are tacky and you can reposition them if needed, but they don’t slip at all. I like the bullnose too, though I was unsure if I would at first. At our old house, we had some treads that did not have the bullnose, so I was looking for them, but it seems like most companies now sell the bullnose treads. Also, I was not sure if I would like the diamond trellis, but looking at pictures I decided to chance it because in the pictures, the diamond trellis looked classy. I can tell you that they do look very classy! I’m a happy girl!

I fell feet first down 11 steps of our wooden main staircase while wearing socks! I was very lucky I didn’t break anything. Did research on carpet stair treads that would not harm the red oak staircase finish ( polyurethane finish). This company overs different colors, patterns. Chose the PURE ERA ‘Bullnose’ edge stair treads in the beige-grey solid colors. READ the easy-to-understand written and picture enclosed directions on how to install correctly if you get the treads with the ‘bullnose’ edge!! It took me about 30-minutes to apply the steps and had my 200-pound plus husband try to move the treads by pushing against each carpet tread with his foot. He really likes them and so do I !!!! easy to vacuum with a car vacuum. Looks nice. Delivery took about 7-10 days after purchase. Oh and they can make special sizes if you need a different size than the standard sizes they offer!

I would definitely say these are the cats ass. So easy to put on my worn down wood steps. My Rottweiler likes to use the stairs as her personal race track. She has torn them up. These have saved those steps from more wear & tear. All I did was wipe the steps down with warm dish soapy water & made sure clean & dry. I just measured from the edge of each step to make sure centered & pulled the backing off as I kept them in place. Super easy & have not had any issues. They don’t move or slip. My elder mother said they are great & she feel safe walking down & up them. Planning on buying another set.

“Adhesive” on back doesn’t keep them stuck down, had to use tape. Within one month of use (no shoes in the house), they are already showing significant wear patterns with the carpet on the lip almost worn off.

Product works well and looks great. I will purchase the matching carpet landings. The bullnose is excellent at protecting the edge of my wooden stairs. the quality so far seems really good. They were easy to put on with the sticky backing but also seemed to be easy to remove for maintenance or cleaning. the adhesive used to hold the stair runners in place does not seem to damage the stair when removing.

Good product for the steps, it looks nice, easy to install.
