Does its job
Handles more than 1000 W on short bursts. SWR is zero with the mineral oil in it. Does this job?

Works as described.
I had an issue with the 1st one I recieved due to it being damaged in shipping. I contacted the company and they sent another one out the next day. Was very impressed with their customer service. The product works well. IIt was replacing one I had for 20 years or so, but the wife threw it away as she mistook it for an old paint can...lol. Probably needed replacing anyway after all that time!

Don’t trust this with your gear 😳
I believe one of the other reviewers said this, but DONT BUY THIS IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW THESE WORK! ( sorry for the all caps) You will need to trouble shoot before you operate. Think of it as a partially finished kit with lots of potential problems. This one has a loose wire hanging loose. Not sure what we will have to trouble shoot after this. Hope I don’t mess up my amplifier 😬

Will take 700watts for about 30 seconds
First, this thing came broken. The SO239 was a cheap piece of junk where the insulator just slid right out of the connector. I needed to test out a new Ameritron amp, so instead of sending it back, I fixed it. I replaced and soldered in a high quality SO239. Then , I proceeded to tune each of 6 bands (plate load plate on 30w input, and then on 95 watts input). I spent no more than 2 seconds each time. After 84 seconds of tuning and never,ever hitting 1000 watts, this thing was burning hot to the touch. This thing is good for 1000 watts for 30 seconds, and that's about it.

Use this to tune your radio not on the Bands.
They don’t come with instructions, but if you add 1 gallon of casserole to this dummy load, you’re in business.

AMAZED WITH THE SPEED OF DELIVERY BUT
I AM AMAZED AND HAPPY WITH HOW FAST AMAZON GOT THIS DELIVERED TO MY FRONT DOOR BUT THERE WAS NO DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO HOOK IT UP TO MY CB RADIO WHICH BUGS ME ALTHOUGH I KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO GO INTO IT HERE
