Finally! Something that works! We've tried everything for our 3 year old Ridgeback that developed hyperkeratosis 6 months ago. Prescription vet meds, beef tallow, shea butter, coconut oil, literally everything we could think of Nothing helped at all Part of the problem was my dogs nose is so sensitive he could smell the ointment on my hand and would bolt I use a product with beeswax for hand issues for weight training and I noticed Nose Butter had that in there so I figured Why Not? Amazing! One he can't smell it coming and two, IT WORKS! Just three days of single applications and it is demonstrably better. His nose is less rough, NO CRACKS and actually looks softer and smoother definitely recommend

I have a French Bull Dog that I am caring for. His owner is now in a long tern care facility and we do not know if she will ever be able to come home. Louie, the frenchie, is the love of her life and she took very good care of him. The only real physical issue that Louie has is a very dry and rough nose. I have tried several different products to no avail. I saw this nose butter and just had to give it one more try. After only four days, Louie’s dry nose is now almost as smooth as my other three dogs. We visit Louie’s mom every other week and she will be so happy to see his smooth little nose. This nose butter is pretty good, it does soften hard crusty nose and paws, but you have to apply really frequently. Package is too small for a large dog with a big problem.

This product does what it says it will do. It truly fixes a dog's dry nose and it does it quickly and safely. I've been buying this product for decades for my Boston Terriers, and it always improves the condition of a dry nose even after just one use. After a few daily uses, things are back to normal. Each of my dogs has always liked to park herself in front of a heat duct on a cold day, and that tends to dry out her little nose. When I notice it's getting dry and ragged looking, I pull out the nose butter and it doesn't take too many applications before she looks (and I'm assuming feels) better. There's nothing in this product that I wouldn't use on myself, so I feel comfortable putting it on my dog's nose. I tried another brand once because I couldn't readily find this one again, and the other brand was so hard that I couldn't get it out of the tin -- It was a complete waste of money. I had to hunt down this Blissful Dog brand again! When you get a new tin of this stuff, you sort of have to break the surface with a fingernail, and from then on when you want to apply it, it comes out of the tin more easily. You just rub you finger around on the nose butter where you've made the divot with your nail, then rub the softened product on your dog. A little bit does the trick! It's best to open the container of nose butter before you get into position to put some on your pup. I just sit in a chair with my Boston sitting in my lap, and hold her around her body with my left arm, keeping her close and tight to my body so that she's immobile. I am right handed, so I get a bit of the product on my right index finder and rub a bit on her nose and then lavish her with kisses and praise. No extra treats needed. I do have to buy a new tin every few years, because it does tend to get old (I notice the scent changes) well before I can use up a container of it. But there are no preservatives in it, so this is expected... And I'd rather use a natural product on my dog and have to buy a new one every few years. My only "complaint" about this product is that the latest tin I bought is a little difficult to open and close. I bought a 1 oz. tin instead of my usual 2 oz. tin, because I never use it up before it starts to get old. I'm not sure if the tin is just too small for my hands or what... It seems like it's threaded wrong. Difficult to open and close, so for me, it's very important that I get the tin opened before calling my dog over. I want the process to be very quick because she doesn't love it when I mess with her nose. I have been buying this product for decades, over the course of the lifetimes of three dogs, and this is the first time I have ever encountered a problem with the container, so I will continue to use this brand. It works!!

My dog is on cancer meds that dried out his nose to the point of bleeding daily. This nose butter has kept his nose well moisturized, and has finally allowed it to heal. It has made him feel much better, and has relieved some of our stress in caring for him. Definitely recommend.

Wow - legit. Our boxer had a badly roughened little nose. It was very crusty and peeled. After one week of once a day butter it really did get better. Her nose looks normal now.

I never write product reviews, but I had to for this product. I received it on July 1st, by July 8th there was a SIGNIFICANT improvement in my Frenchie's nose. This stuff works SO GOOD. His nose looks absolutely beautiful again. BEST stuff ever.

This did the trick on my pugs nose as was very dry an crusty. Within 2days his nose was bk to normal , i had tried different balms but nothing worked, but this beauty did , will definitely purchase again when I run out
