Cheap sword that actually works
While the handle isn't that great being square in profile, it's a neat little Wakizashi that has held up to test cutting and enthusiastic chopping of some vines and brush. The sheath is incorrect for a wakizashi, and more western in style, but does a good job retaining the blade. For less than $75 you won't be disappointed.

Excellent at this price point.
Just got it and put it through a few tests. This wakizashi is legit. Especially because of the cost. I was skeptical, now impressed.

bad handle, but decent blade for the money
the handle is SO uncomfortable. if youre able to commission or are able to make a proper handle, i would advise that.the handle also left black residue on my hand, so i wrapped it in electric tape at the expense of a less non-slip texture. the "handguard" also rubbed some skin off of my thumb, though that could just be the way i held it.the metal polishes really well, even when i had no experience before, so it looks nice compared to the more matte appearance the blade had when it arrived. sharpening was needed, but is still ok for smiting bottles or, depending on local laws and circumstances, against [armed] intuders.from the feel of the sword, i have no trust in doing anything abusive to the blade

Four Stars
Very well made for the price, however you will need to sharpen/re-bevel it.

Excellent
Sharp, fast and durable. Everything is want from a blade in this price range.

Functional despite poor grip material choice
Really nice blade, but it feels like they cut corners on the grip, which even appears to be separating at the edges. The center is holding strong, however, so it's not going to fall apart yet really screws up the looks of what's otherwise a nice blade.

Almost as good as thousand time folded glorious Nippon steel.
This thing is exactly as described. Weight is significantly better than expected, with the point of balance under 2 inches from blade. The grip is ugly and will stain your hand black. Best value for the money.

Steel explanation
The steel used for this is similar in carbon concentration to 1045 so I assume this is the staneless version of 1045
