I have blue tipped and black tipped, both of which are stiffer and good for leather hard, but not soft clay.

These are a fantastic tool if you make anything with clay. They can get into very small spots and smooth and shape exactly how you want. Highly recommend. I think they should come as standard in all beginners kits.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ depends on what you're using them for

i wouldn't use these on clay for anything but smoothing on soft clay. they're wayyy too soft to withstand that much sustained pressure and you're probably gonna end up ruining them sooner than you'd like however! if you're looking at these because you want to use them for painting or drawing- they're great! these are the softest color shapers I own, and are super nice for it's price and for how many you get. the rubber feels very smooth and flexible, its quality probably won't make it last as long as those from more expensive brands, so i'd suggest to treat them a little more gently looking at the ferrule it does concern me that it will get loose at the handle at some point, it doesn't look like they were crimped tight enough, or maybe at all- but right now they do feel pretty secure.
