Review: A down to earth approach to improving your mind, spirit and body. - As a voracious reader of books, magazine, newspapers and anything else with printed pages my curiosity and search for knowledge has been endless. My passion to learn and experience the full spectrum of life has led me on adventures from the center of the earth to the ends of the cosmos. When I saw this 216 page hardcover book with a unique title (You are a badass every day: How to keep your motivation strong, your vibe high, and your quest for transformation unstoppable by Jen Sincero) on desertcart I decided to purchase it. Even though I have NEVER had trouble motivating myself no matter what I wanted to do; nevertheless, I did find the various tips, advice and other material in this book very interesting. The author’s straight, earthy; no nonsense advice is refreshing to read in a book about self-improvement. Interestingly, there is no table of contents; the last page, however, has a “User’s Guide” with the page numbers to locate the following material: Affirmations, important reminder, journaling, meditation, motivational spanking, perspective shift, self-love/confidence boost, tiny to do, yer bad and wake-up call. There is a lot to like about this book. I really liked all the affirmations and here are three examples: “There is no riskier risk than refusing to risk at all.” “How determined you are determines how successful you are.” “If you keep waiting for the right time, you’ll keep living the wrong life.” I found this book to be unique, interesting and highly motivating. If you are seeking a “down to earth” approach to self-improvement and self-development you should check out this excellent volume. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. If you have ever wanted a life coach but couldn't afford one, buy her books. I have read two now. I feel, when I read her books, that I'm not reading but rather sitting down with a good friend who happens to be a kick-ass life coach. She is also hilarious. The first book I read was "You are a Bad Ass, How to Stop Doubting you Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life". I'm a slow reader but finished it in a matter of five days. That was a first for me. She writes as though she is talking to you. It's a bit like therapy. She uses long, very descriptive sentences. The second book I bought was "You are a Bad Ass Every Day". I finished that book in a matter of three hours. It is an easy read that gets to the point. It is like one big positive affirmation. And, honestly, it is the best thing I have ever read. I fold down the tips of pages that I want to come back to later. I noticed that I was folding down almost every single page. So, I bought some highlighters and started reading it again. I noticed that I was highlighting almost everything I read. I'm now putting sticky notes on the pages. I categorize them by writing "Exercises" …"To Do Lists" and "Remember" on them. I'm using this book as a textbook for a better life. After reading her first book (mentioned above) I started putting into practice what she suggests. And, quite honestly, did a half-assed job at it. But I ended up creating better relationships, manifesting new friends and my financial situation has improved. I wondered to myself what would have happened if I had really given it my all. So, I'm going to give it another go. I truly believe that we create our realities by our thoughts. Whatever you give the most attention to, you will bring into your life... good or bad. I have bought the first book (yellow) for two different friends. And I would like to buy the book for all of my friends. I promise you, if you read Jen's books and put them into practice, your life will change for the better. I'm so glad I discovered Jen Sincero. And, btw, I am not getting anything to write this review. I have not even met Jen although I, kind of, consider her to be a friend. When I discover something good, I like to share it with others. She is amazing! Buy her books and change your life. I did.

She is so good
I read Jen’s first book (if you haven’t yet then do yourself a favor and do it now) and if you have but it’s been a while or you want to expand that knowledge and try to incorporate more into your every day badassery routine then I highly recommend buying this book. Jen keeps her incredible sense of humor and truly makes you feel like she’s got Pom poms screaming your name. She’s so inspiring and hysterical. Such a gem. But this for every person open to being their best selves and just need some tools.

Great read !
A friend purchased one of her books about how to be a bad ass( the yellow one) when I was going through a time where anxiety and self-doubt was kicking in and I loved it it helped me a lot. So I decided to give this author another chance with her two other books and I must say I finish the blue book and now I am onto the green book about how to be a bad ass at making money. How to be a bad ass every day: was an easy read because it just gives you mostly affirmations to say to yourself and little quotes here in there so it should not take that long. How to be a badass at making money: is more of a reading a book chapter by chapter and it also gives you great insight about making money and how to make money

A book of very short takeaways.
I love Jen Sincero, or I would probably rate this even lower :( . I was maybe too excited to see a brand new book by Jen that I expected too much. It felt like a very brief rehash of the previous two excellent books, or a “book for books sake”. I do understand that it’s supposed to be a book of doable daily snippets but they feel only partially hashed out, incomplete, and rushed. A lot of white space throughout. I’d say, if you have to have this one, wait until the price possibly goes lower because it feels really overpriced for what it is right now (being brand new). I also want to say that it’s possible I just don’t like this “daily messages” layout and that my review is based on that preference. Jen is a wonderful writer and is really great at getting your mind and motivations stirring, so I do still recommend checking it out. Just know what you’re getting.

Let this sink in….
Love the simplicity of the pointers this book advises. Sometimes I catch myself reading it faster and not letting it sink in before turning the next page. Great information to help deal with life and understand how we have the responsibility to make choices. Who else wants to be a badass like me? Order this book if you do.

Tremendous Insight
We must all get through our giants to get to the other side - where we need to be. Our personal giants are tremendous opportunities for growth. If we faithfully chip away at the giants, they will fall. If we listen to them and remain where they tell us to settle, they will be our masters. - Paul

BADASS
Badass book!! From the first pages I felt different. After 2 days, I already took better decisions. I just read a few pages morning and evening (1-2 chapters) and integrate them directly. It's mood and life changing. Focusing on the right thing is everything. I am a coach and already did so much personal development. This book is just a gem to keep a positive, constructive, dynamic mindset without fake positivity or overwhelming. Just the truth of our most potent self, if we decide to choose and nourish this version of us everyday.
