An 18” monitor was a perfect add on to my 15” laptop. I didn’t realize how much more screen real estate this would give me.The screen is extremely thin and light, the display is very bright and clear and it’s easy to set up. I really like the fold out stand compared to some of the other “smart folio” stands, feels more sturdy and adjustable.At first I didn’t like the idea that it needs external power to prevent flicker and performance issues. Then I found out I could use my laptop charger to power the monitor and the monitor as power pass through to keep my laptop charged. That saves the extra cord.As for my laptop, I am using an HP Envy with 2 Full Function USB C/Thunderbolt 4 ports. I have used this monitor with the USB C for video and the HDMI to mini for video, both results were great.
