4K Portable Monitor Touchscreen 15.6'', 3840x2160 125% sRGB Laptop Monitor

This is my second time purchasing a portable monitor from this company. I really like my first 17.3-inch portable monitor. It fits in my small carry-on suitcase, making it convenient to take on short trips. This time, I got the slightly larger 18.4-inch model (Newsoul Portable Monitor 4K 18.4 inch). It arrived in a sturdy box with all the necessary accessories. The setup instructions were straightforward. Adjusting the display settings both on my MacBook and ThinkPad was equally simple, and it was up and running in no time. The display is crisp and clear, making it a joy to use for my work.One of the primary reasons I got this monitor was for its versatility. I often set up an external display in various parts of my house, such as the living room or kitchen, to break away from my home office. The large 18.4-inch display significantly enhances my productivity, and despite its size, it's still easy to move around the house. Additionally, I take this monitor on longer trips lasting over a month. It offers the perfect balance of a large display and portability, ensuring I have an excellent work setup wherever I go.The sleek metal case is both stylish and sturdy, providing excellent protection. The magnetic cover is thin, ensuring it doesn't add bulk when packing the monitor in a travel case or suitcase. It's also sturdy enough to protect the screen during travel, giving me peace of mind. The magnetic cover is versatile, too—it holds the monitor firmly at my preferred viewing angle and is detachable for added convenience.<Excellent customer service>I must highlight the company's exceptional customer service. At my first purchase, one of the cables didn't work correctly. I reached out to customer service, and they responded quickly with various troubleshooting steps. Despite my delayed responses due to travel, they remained patient and, once the issue was identified, promptly sent me a replacement cable. Wow, I am very impressed with this monitor so far. An 18” monitor was a perfect add on to my 15” laptop. I didn’t realize how much more screen real estate this would give me.The screen is extremely thin and light, the display is very bright and clear and it’s easy to set up. I really like the fold out stand compared to some of the other “smart folio” stands, feels more sturdy and adjustable.At first I didn’t like the idea that it needs external power to prevent flicker and performance issues. Then I found out I could use my laptop charger to power the monitor and the monitor as power pass through to keep my laptop charged. That saves the extra cord.As for my laptop, I am using an HP Envy with 2 Full Function USB C/Thunderbolt 4 ports. I have used this monitor with the USB C for video and the HDMI to mini for video, both results were great. You can’t beat this for the price.

I bought two of these 18" monitors to use while traveling (by car), since I don’t like working from just my 15.6" laptop screen. These were a great solution!They’re very easy to set up: just connect via USB-C and you’re good to go. To be able to use two at once, I also bought an adapter. The weight is light enough for travel but still feels sturdy and well made. I was really impressed with the picture quality: sharp, bright, and clear. The sound is decent for a portable monitor, which was a nice bonus.Overall, I’m very satisfied. They perform exactly as I hoped, and even though they’re a bit pricey, I think the quality makes them worth the investment.

Decent monitor in general but a great one for the price. The screen gets plenty bright, colors are good once you dial in the settings, and it indeed is 120hz. The menu settings are accessed by a wheel and are intuitive. I also like that there is a separate button for switching inputs.The negatives are that there is considerable screen bleed, black levels are rather poor, and the monitor I received has a stuck pixel. Running a pixel fixer video did not help. And for that I am docking a star.

I bought this monitor to use as an external display. I usually use it to extend my workspace to display reference material when coding, working on documents, and during Zoom calls. I'm happy with my experience so far.Pros:- Quick and easy plug and play setup- VESA compatible (comes with screws)- Easy to find everything in the package. I appreciated that I didn't have to dig through the package and check the box's nooks and crannies like I had to with some other tech purchases.- Crisp images and bright colors- Easy to adjust brightness (important for me because I have eye problems)- Easy to adjust resolution to match primary monitor- I found out by accident that the monitor supports USB-C power passthrough when connected to my laptop's Thunderbolt port. That simplified my workspace setup since I only need one charger for both the monitor and my laptop instead of needing separate power sources for each.What could be improved:- The power adaptor cable included in the box was too short to reach my outlet. I ended up using a longer cable I had at home.- The ports are located on the right-hand side of the monitor, meaning all cables stick out to the right. I wish the ports were located below the monitor for better desk space utilization.- The control buttons are located to the left of the monitor. They're very responsive and I appreciate not having to click through a bunch of menus to adjust settings. But the icons showing what each button does are painted on the back of the monitor. I have to stick my head behind the monitor to check what each button does, which isn't ideal for quick adjustments.

I wanted a monitor to fit in a tight spot in a secretary hutch so that when not in use everything could be closed up and look neat. This Newsoul monitor does the trick. it is thin and light and easily fits up in the desk under a shelf. the 17" wide 4k screen is a big improvement over a laptop or tablet. It has 2 USB C ports and one micro USB port. I wish it was a third USB C but this is the only monitor in this class that I could find with both speakers and a third USB port which can be used for a thumb-drive or wired keyboard and mouse if you are using this on a phone or tablet with just one USB port available. At full brightness the monitor only uses slightly less than 15 watts (by my meter) and will run adequately off the power from a mini PC. It would probably work fine with a powered USB hub and then the other USB C port could be used to daisy chain another monitor into an extended array.Overall it comes with a decent magnetic case to make it transportable, the speakers are fine for this class when many similar monitors have none. It is very flexible and I contacted support for the plastic kick-stand they offer and they have been very responsive. I want another one to extend my display to 34" wide but it looks like they are currently unavailable so hopefully these are back soon.

I received my item very promptly and it was everything I hoped it would be. I liked that they provided several cables for multiple connection methods. I did not have to buy anything else. It came with a monitor user manual that was easy to understand. I love the touchscreen capability. The monitor was super thin, lightweight and I love it. It has a a volume control and a plug for headphones. It came with a stand that can be adjusted to many angles. The sleeve is beautiful but I haven't figured out how to fold it so I won't need the stand provided. I figure something out when I forget the stand at home. I would buy this item again and I am very happy with my purchase. My colleagues were impressed with the sleek professional look during our presentations.

25年7月にデスクトップのサブモニターとして2台購入。つい先日そのうちの1台の電源が入らなくなってしまい、取扱説明書記載の連絡先に相談してみたところ、相談の翌々日には新品の交換品を送付いただきました。VESAが使えて壁掛けにちょうど良い大きさ、無理に欲張らない解像度、暖色系の発色が良いモバイルモニターは希少なのと、買いなおすとそれなりに高額なので、大変助かりました。

The screen is nice and the picture is clear, but the wireless connection never worked. Had to return it. Also, the position of the ports are inconvenient with the stand. You can't plug in with the stand collapsed.

今のところ買ってめっちゃ満足できました！まずデカイ！モバイルディスプレイでこのサイズ感は初めてだったので大きくてみやすくてとても良かったです。発色もかなり綺麗で普段Macbook Air M1を使っていますが、遜色ないくらいです。（調整しました）仕事柄、モニターの微妙な色の違いを判別する必要があり、ちゃんと色が出るか不安でしたが、大丈夫で安心しました。以前購入したモバイルモニターではカラーコードで#FFFFFFと#F5F5F5の違いが分からずどちらも白にしか見えませんでしたが、今回はしっかり判別できました。（調整はしましたが）せっかくなので調整した設定をスクショしておきます。生成AIに相談して色を気にするなら有機ELが良いって言われまくったのですが、全然売ってなくて、断念してこれを選んだのですが、私には全然これで十分でした。またダーツライブホームでダーツしていますが、タブレットから出力することで大画面かつ、タッチパネルでタップできるので、かなり便利で迫力も段違いです。有線なので遅延もほぼなくかなり快適に利用できています。Netflixも繋げれば見れるし、何よりタップして再生・停止ができるのが最高です。本当に買って良かったなと思いました。Newsoulさん感謝です。macだとタッチできないと口コミの中にありましたが、タッチできましたよ。ちなみにM1 Mackbook Airです。
