These tea towels are really lovely! They even came inside of a lovely pouch adorned with lace and a tiny fork.However, I have only used one so far, and perhaps I didn't wash it correctly, the towel that I washed really faded.I am going to wash another one on the cold water setting and see how it washes. I highly recommend this set oftowels because they are really beautiful and absorbent.

When my sister's favorite tea towel caught fire while she was proofing bread in the oven, it smoked up the kitchen and alerted us to the fact that the oven temperature had been turned up by accident. When the smoke was cleared we assessed the damages. The kitchen was saved, the bread was still edible but the towel that covered the bread was a total loss. She was so sad about the towel that I decided to replace it for her birthday, but it was an antique pattern...where to look? Amazon to the rescue! I found a set with the same pattern as the original and had them sent to her. She was surprised and pleased to receive them for her birthday. She said the colors were bright the quality was excellent and she promised to keep them out of the oven.

This was a gift for my sister ho absolutely loved them. The packaging was a surprise, very unique, and in keeping with the product itself. Although I’m not the ultimate end-user, my impression is that they’re really cool, but not so precious that you wouldn’t want to actually use them. Get a set for your own sister!

Very colorful & sturdy. They were a little stiff until washed, but softened up after wash. I think w/use & a few washings they will soften up a lot. The crocheting around edges looks hand done, so be gentle w/washing. Also, I was afraid red might run, so was careful w/no whites & light colors. I wanted something colorful & cheerful to hang in my pantry & they fit the bill.

These towels are nice, but they have an ecru background--not white. This was somewhat disappointing for me. I was going by the picture on Amazon which distinctly shows a white background. I still like the towels, but this is not truth in advertising.Update:The picture now shows an ecru background; it didn't when I bought them.

These are the cutest dish towels! They’re just perfect for the vintage look I was going for. The packaging was an extra bonus too. I’ve washed them and they’re holding up great.

I was looking for a gift for friends who are redoing their kitchen. I wanted something special and unique. These towels were vintage look, and they were also big, which makes then practical to use. I haven't seen ones like them before, except for seeing the real thing when I was a little girl.The packaging was also very attractive, and they weren't too expensive, like you'd expect for this quality.My friends liked them a lot, so I was very happy.

These towels are on an ecru or cream base, not white. Not a bad thing, except if you have a white theme going in the room you plan to use them in! Rather than being the vintage style, but white and clean looking, they are styled to look vintage, more as if they've been in use since the 1950s.
