The steel is flimsy. The hardware is very china cheap. Read the instructions and you can tell it’s translated from Chinese. I drilled pilot holes directly into the studs, hammered the hardware in and tightened them. I installed all 12. Only 3 bolts on each side will work since the equipment is 17inches from side to side to line up with the 16” studs. I drilled right into the studs, hammered the hardware into the studs, and started to pull on the bar with all of about 100lbs and the bolts completely stripped and came right out. I DO NOT recommended putting this inside your home or garage. Only install this to a brick wall with masonry hardware. Takes some carpentry work and extra wood lags screws from the hardware store to install this properly on a wood studded wall. Tension bungees were different lengths. Could use a back pad for left lifts. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/85925866-multifunctionsal-pull-up-bars-wall-mounted-chin-up-bar-pullup](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/85925866-multifunctionsal-pull-up-bars-wall-mounted-chin-up-bar-pullup) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
