This study is great for every Believer from the new Christian to the seasoned warrior. While the emphasis is certainly prayer it is so much more and leads one to understand relationship with God in a new way. We have many very mature women in our study group and they all are saying the same thing: this study connects the dots; crosses the t's and dots the i's like no study they have ever done. The videos are good but not necessary if you don't want to invest in them. I do love the video teaching however, if money is an issue everything she says on video is repeated in the study.I rate this a 5-star and would recommend it for private study or group study. It will change your walk with Christ.I also would recommend the 40 day personal devotional by the same author: Altar'd as well as the six week study: Set Apart. In fact I would recommend anything she has written. She's very Biblically based and an incredible teacher using simple illustrations to teach Truth in an interesting, relevant way.

This book is excellent

I recommend this book to each and every one of you who longs to know God better. This was the first Bible study that I took part in. For me it was truly eye opening. I've been saved for many years, but still on a lower level of undersanding. I was that person who felt I had to get the prayers just right, say exactly the right thing, never forget to pray, or else. This book has opened my eyes to greater truths. 1. I learned that God is okay if my words aren't perfect. 2. Praying is a constant thing. And 3. God is the one who pushes me to pray and this means he is already working on the problem. Please read this book and enrich your life!

This is one of best books on prayer I've read. It is extremely practical and easy to read. It reminds the reader of the power God gives us through prayer. I've read it twice now and have been doubly blessed!
