Deliciously Spicy
Let me start by saying that this product is my go-to jerky, along with their smoked sausages. Love that this manufacturer uses natural ingredients. And it is spicy hot. You get a lot of jerky compared to others, making this jerky a good buy price wise. The jerky has been usually “soft” and this one is a wee bit drier and tougher, but I will continue to buy this jerky. It comes in a resealable package, which has been a hit and miss with it being more of a miss. Package doesn’t reseal. Their smoked sausages, which comes in similar package, does reseal. Overall, unless it’s home-made, this jerky product is definitely a good buy (price wise and flavorful) and worth trying if you haven’t already tried it. But be warned—it is spicy. And if you love chiles, you’ll love it.

Not as dry and stringy as the honey one, but the meat tasted more grassy. Could be a good thing or a bad thing. Decent spice and it was softer and a nicer chew. Still gong back to old trapper

Smokey, spicy, sweet, and absolutely perfect
I've had a lot of different beef jerky brands, but decided to try a new jerky offering my local stop and shop had brought it. Behold: Tillamook Country Smoker. The first impression when you take a bite is: "that's sweet, but not too sp-" and then it hits you, the peppery spice hits the back of your throat ever so gracefully. The beef is mostly soft, and even the harder more dry parts have that beautiful sweetness and spice. I would recommend this to people who are into moderately spicy foods that like to challenge themselves in terms of their spice tolerance. This is not for people who don't like spice! Pros: -spice -texture -tenderness -amazing ingredients -no nitrates or nitrites! -no MSG! Cons: -may ne too spicy for some people -you'll become a Tillamook Country Smoker addict!!

The taste was bad. Really hot and very little sweet. Smokey flavor but not in a good way. Odd flavor like maybe it is going bad. I gave them a 5 star rating because of their excellent customer service!! 😊
