Coenzyme Q10 for Dogs Grain-Free Supplement, Ubiquinol - the Electron-Rich Form of CoQ10, Promotes Heart Health, Cognitive and Energy Support for Dogs, 120 Chewable Tablets

I use CoQ10 and taurine for my small dogs with heart murmurs, on recommendation by a veterinarian and an animal chiropractor, in addition to their heart meds. My personal opinion is, the supplements have helped them to live longer. I place the supplements in soft dog food and they eat it right up.

Even though it's early, I've only given my 8 and 1/2 year old chihuahua, Gizmo, 2 and 1/2 pills as the product just arrived Tues night. He has a Grade 4 heart murmur, was very despondent, not eating, hardly walking on our daily walks, but just tonight he ate all his food ( Dr. Marty's) and is much more active and engaged. I attribute this change to the coenzyme Q10 for dogs. I will update in a couple of weeks, but I purchased this product based on the other positive reviews. This is amazing!

I bought these tablets because this is ubiquinol coQ10 for dogs, not the cheaper and less effective ubiquinone. And I'm happy I did it. My dog was neutered when he turned 11 and because of his age he underwent a complete cardiac evaluation before the surgery. Then 4 weeks later he developed a heart murmur and suffered a stroke. In hindsight, he should never have been put through the surgery, because the loss of testosterone immediately led to health complications which I now know are well known side effects of neuter surgery in male canines. All the same, the damage was already done and my vet recommended getting him started on Coenzyme Q10 and it was a good call. For as long as he gets his one tablet per day, he has no cough and shows no signs of hard breathing or fluid build-up. Moreover, it has kept the soft tissue in his mouth healthy and he has a fresh breath as well. Unfortunately, the stroke has left his tongue paralyzed, which has made it very difficult for him to take any pills or to eat, so I break the tablets and mix them up with his homemade meal. I am hugely impressed with how this supplement has helped preserve his dental health, in addition to the other benefits, and am now starting my other dog on it because her breed is prone to premature teeth loss and dental disease, even if you do the annual cleanings. I am truly glad that my vet suggested we use Coenzyme Q10 and recommend it to everyone whose dog suffers from cardiac or dental issues.

My dogs are getting older so the vet recommended giving them COQ10. They take it without any problems which is nice since dogs do not like taking medicine. Just started using it but so far so good.

I have ended having to use these for two older pups with heart murmurs. My vet says they will help the pills to absorb. I trust my vet. They are expensive like most animal medicine, but I treat my pups as family & I would do anything I can for them. A little big on size for my chihuahuas, but I hide it in some soft food.

I can't afford the heart medication or even the MRI they need to give my dogs heart help and even if we did what do they do for it they give you medication you can't operate on him he's too old and I just needed something that would help and it seemed to really help him he had more energy he could catch his breath granted he's old okay he's not really that old he's only four and a half but he's a French bulldog and this stuff right away helped him I got to say it's true and in the meantime it's all I can do for him and that's it and so my heart was better for it too and I didn't even take it

Our dog hates the smell and taste of this pill. She will walk away from a full bowl of food if this pill is in it. Please make an UNFLAVORED version.

Great product. Excellent quality. My two dogs take daily. My chi mix has a heart murmur and my other dog was born with a deformed heart. My vet said to give co q10 in addition to her rx.
