TradMall Travel Umbrella Windproof 46 Inches Canopy, Black

This travel umbrella has been a really good product for me. I have used it for about a year, and it is still working well. In my previous experience with other umbrellas, the open and close button usually stopped working easily, but I have not had that problem with this one. The umbrella feels sturdy, and the large canopy gives good coverage. I also like that it is convenient as a travel umbrella while still feeling strong enough for regular use. The reinforced ribs make it feel more reliable than some other umbrellas I have used before. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. After a year of use, it is still in good condition, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and practical umbrella.

This is the best umbrella I've owned. It's an amazingly good value for the money. I got the 46" canopy with 10 reinforced fiberglass ribs. It opens smoothly and quickly and collapses just as fast with the press of a button! I really like the ergonomic handle. I've found that I can hold this umbrella for long periods of time without fatigue. It's wind resistance is quite good. I've used the umbrella in winds up to 20 mph so far, with no adverse incidents. I'll have to see how it behaves with stronger wind gusts, but so far so good. I'm a big guy (190 cm, 85 kilos - 6'3", 185 lbs, with broad shoulders) and have often gotten wet using smaller umbrellas. But this TradMall 46" umbrella works like a charm in keeping me dry even in driving rain. I highly recommend this umbrella. I'm going to buy three more, one for my husband and a couple to keep in our car in case of unexpected downpours.

This is a nice wide umbrella, certainly more than wide enough for a couple to share it comfortably. Also at the tip of the circumference, the direction of the cover is nearly vertical, which is very good for getting rid of water. The automatic open and close work as expected. Unfortunately, the umbrella case is useless. The umbrella came in that case, but after opening and closing it once (without even letting it get wet) it no longer fits in that case. It's not even close. It was packed at the factory, but you won't be able to get it in there again. You might as well throw away the case.

I absolutely love this umbrella It’s compact and lightweight, so it’s super easy to carry in my bag, but when you open it, it’s surprisingly large and gives great coverage. The material feels strong and durable, and it holds up really well against wind and rain. Definitely a great purchase and worth every penny

I wrote the following review when I bought the umbrella. Recently a spoke broke. I contacted Tradmall. They responded immediately and arranged for a replacement. They have the Best customer service. They do what they promise. Can't ask for a better product or better customer service. Original review...... I love this umbrella! I use it every day for sun protection and, of course, when it rains. Since I live in Florida, that means I use it constantly. It never breaks when the wind blows it inside out. I just turn it around and the wind pops it back. It's big enough to keep you dry. It's small and light enough to carry. It's not for a small handbag but I find those umbrellas too small and flimsy to really keep you dry. From my experience with other brand umbrellas, closing this type of umbrella is difficult. They have a button to open and close. But to really close it you have to push the handle in. I had to push the others against a wall or sidewalk and it was still difficult. This umbrella is tight but I can still close it with my own strength.... and I'm older with arthritis in my hands. Last, this company is great to deal with. Good customer response when I had a problem. Since I use it all the time every day, I have several. Can't be without it.

This is a very good umbrella for the price. It's sturdy and well made, doesn't feel cheap, and the open/close mechanism is responsive and quick. It provides good coverage without being huge and hard to walk around with, folds up to a pretty compact size, and the handle is comfortable to hold. It's easy to get back into the slip it comes in, and I like the elastic cord that I can sling around my wrist while holding it. I'm really happy with it overall. I really want to highlight the outstanding customer service of TradMall. They stand behind their product, and care about customer satisfaction. I had this umbrella for over a year, and had used it quite a few times. It held up well in average rainy weather, until last week a sudden strong gust turned it inside out for the first time, and the material tore away from one of the ribs. These umbrellas have a lifetime warranty, so I emailed TradMall and told them what happened. I wasn't even sure they'd answer, but I had a reply within hours. The customer service person I spoke with (Tracy) was friendly and professional, and by the evening of the day I sent the email, they'd placed an order for a replacement umbrella, no questions asked. It arrived today, just a few days later. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience, and I definitely recommend this umbrella.

I spent a long time trying to choose a new umbrella, and ended up with this one. Initially I was happy with my choice. It is very compact, and it opened nicely, although it is a little difficult to close. When it arrived, I would have given it 4 stars. Yesterday, however, as I started to unwrap the umbrella to open it, the button basically exploded. I don't even remember touching it; but suddenly the umbrella was expanding before I could get it outside my car. I shoved it through the door, then tried to push it fully open, but it would not stay entirely open either. I held it mostly-open in order to keep my mother and myself dry. (Fortunately it wasn't raining very hard.) Now it will not stay fully open OR fully closed, unless I use the velcro strap to hold it shut. Did I mention that I ordered the umbrella less than two months ago, and that this was only the third time I had used it?? Maybe I got a defective one somehow, but I am very disappointed in the lifespan and quality of this umbrella. I am emailing TradMall, but honestly, even if they replace it, I plan to find a more reliable alternative for regular day-to-day use.

15-20 degrees cooler! Totally worth it.. Only thing that would make it better is o rings and straps to make it hands free 46 inch was smaller than I expected as they measure the curve.. so good for one adult, but not 2 people walking together as I'd hoped. Once I figured out how to close it.. Put center against wall and push button and push in fast with body weight. Really convenient and great price for walking outside in summer! I wasn't sweating, while everyone around me was melting in southern California Park.

The great, huge umbrella that is enough to cover a couple and keep them dry. It's a bit heavy and bulky, but it's expected considering the umbrella size.

The umbrella was packed in its box, delivered quickly and well-packaged. Thank you, seller, for your nice customer service. I used the umbrella in the park when it was drizzling. I like the blue color of the item as it feels as if the sky is blue and the rain looks less gloomy. 😀 I am happy with my purchase. I also liked the handle of the umbrella, it works well for me. Also, it did not feel heavy to carry for me, despite a seemingly solid body of the umbrella.

OK, I've used this a few times but not many. Now after our hot summer the rain has finally arrived and I felt safe in the knowledge I would stay dry (as can be with a brolly). But I was surprised to feel drips. Not much, but it seems where the struts are in contact with the fabric, the water filters through bilding up until it drips. Small showers aren't a problem, but a deluge will leave you feeling rather wet. I'm now off to find another 'recommended' brolly for when it continues raining . . .

Haven't tried it in the rain yet, but it seems very sturdy and well made. Spring load open and close has a lot of power behind it, so careful where you're pointing it lol. It is a little heavier than other collapsible umbrellas, but I think that is the trade-off for sturdiness. The auto close only folds the canopy part of the umbrella, and requires you to push the pole back into the handle to fully collapse it. It does take a fair bit of strength to do this, so I would not recommend for anyone with shoulder, elbow, or wrist pain. But again, I think this is a trade off for a strong umbrella. Will update once it rains, if anything goes wrong.
