webcam: I bought this product and plugged into my chromebook, I do not see this product can be used as a webcam. How to set the unit to webcvam?

I was able to get the v50 elite to work as a webcam. This is what I did. 01) while powered off 02) remove micro sd card (if there is one in it) 03) use a micro usb cord 04) (computer is on) plug into computer 05) plug into camera 06) wait a few seconds and on the camera screen, you should see the option for "PC Camera"

hows the sound quality if you want to record sound of your event what do you have to do, remove it from it's case? tom

Sound is decent when not in the waterproofing case. But it picks up my EVO SS gimbal motor noise and I can’t figure out how stop it

Is there a soft carrying case that can be used with the v50 elite? Something that can be hung from a belt possibly?

These cameras are very small and I have made custom cases for many of my cameras. I personally would look for a small pouch (leather) that belt clips would be sufficient. There are cases available on Amazon that have accessories an are under $20.00
